IVE GOT SOME LONG TUBE HEDMAN HEADERS AND I BOUGHT A BBK X-PIPE FOR LONG TUBE HEADERS...THEY DONT MATCH UP....THE X-PIPE IS TOO SKINNY TO MATCH UP TO THE HEADER FLANGES SO I THINK I KNOW WHAT I NEED BUT IM NOT REAL SURE ON THIS...HERE IS THE LINK TO WHAT I THINK I NEED.....http://www.jegs.com/i/Hedman/500/18806/10002/-1
I THINK THAT MAKES THE X-PIPE WIDER TO FIT UP TO THE HEADERS...ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE COMMENTS WILL BE HELPFUL!!!....THANKS

First off. There is no need for caps lock on your whole sentence there. And you bought a off-brand set of headers and a x-pipe specific for the car.The problem is hedmen made the headers to fit allmost every fox body out there so they wont fit that great. If i were you i would sell or return the headers and buy a set made for the car.BBK,Mac,Basanni or another brand name well known in the mustang community for exhaust. It will fit much better.

Ive got mac long tubes, and a bought a universal x-pipe kit from summit and had my friend at car x flange and weld it all up for me, worked pretty good he said. Any exhaust shop could probably make a kit work for you and the kit was only 75.00 plus handling charge.

You are missing the flange adapter, which is sitting in my garage.
It takes it from what ever the header is down to a standard size.

my problem is that the xpipe is not wide enough to match up to the headers....not that the diameter of the pipe is not right....i think those tubes that i have on that link up top will work but i need some other opinions to see....thanks..
