So I don't know how many of you have used the "Street View" option on Google Maps, but it's pretty cool. Also scary when you think about it.

Anyway, I'm heading up to Dayton Performance today, so I checked Google Maps first, then went to a street view and I'm pretty sure that's the Pinks car sitting right out front.

Right, lol... those pics were taken about a year ago. The scary thing is that the cameras catch kids playing the yard etc. I've actually gone to the houses of relatives and friends and seen them standing in the yard etc. Anyway, just thought it was interesting.

If you go to the Auditor's website (Clermont/Hamilton County), they show "images" of your house also. The picture of my house was taken well over 5 years ago, Vinny's truck (that he flipped) is sitting in the driveway. You'd think they would update those every now and then. :rolleyes:

lol... Yeah, I've used the auditors pics quite a bit when I was in the mortgage racket. Sometimes the lender would just require a picture of the house, and that's a quick place to get it.

I looked at my parents house the other day on streetview, my Mom is sitting in the front yard pulling weeds from the flower beds. I told here she's an internet celebrity now.

It's kind of creepy that there are cameras out there doing that. There is way too much information available on the internet if you ask me.

That street view is pretty trick, I'd never used that before. There's a picture of my boat in my driveway from the fall last yr. How do they get all the footage of the area like that?

It looks like they avoided Middletown as much as possible, and they mapped a lot of other areas in detail...

The thing is Google is dealing with a lawsuit about their street view because of personal intrusion.

The personal intrusion thing is stupid if you ask me. The only thing on street view is the same thing you would see in person if you drive down the street. If people dont want to be seen on the net doing something stupid then dont do something stupid in public for the world to see.
