guess thats still a plus over a sportsman tree, but i wish there wasn't 3 choices though, needs to be .400 pro or .500 sportsman.

I was surprised that the showers at the track were all I saw. It was completely dry all the way home. Nice lightning show though.
It kinda sucked to make it down to 8 and get rained on, but at least we all got paid. I had fun just being back out there after having a broke ass car for half the season.

Kilkare is a pretty cool place... I think I'll be there, even if it is 90*... They need to spend some money and lengthen the shutdown area though..... ah, Fug it, there's always the sand trap! :bigthumb

I hope someoen from UMTR has been in close contact with KK as they still dont advertise us racing there and they have a history of getting confused.

Hey Guys,
Yes everything is a go for this weekend and I know they don't have us on the schedule. I've brought it up a couple times and they said they would take care of it. Here's a post I copied from the UMTR site just so everyone knows what's up.

Looks like I'll probably be out of town on "business" at Route 66 in Joliet, Ill. for the NMRA event.
Good luck to those who attend!

Yes, as long as everybody running s/s is okay with running 1/4 then that's what we'll do. If there are any problems after the first time run where someone doesn't feel safe running 1/4 make sure you bring it up at the drivers meeting after the first time run. I mean really the only thing that will happen is you go in the river at the end of the track[:D]. To be on the safe side I would like everyone that has never been down this track to check out the shut down area BEFORE they make a pass.
Q/S will be 1/8 mile at Kil Kare.

Might drive up to watch with the boys, 5 and 7, If so I'll have the Pacifica and I'll have an assortment of kiddo movies and the a/c going. So feel free to bring him/her over!
Kil-Kare will be extremely busy this weekend. They are having a "big money" race this weekend. I would imagine, there will be a lot of hurry up and wait on Saturday.

Say it isn't so...
Seems like with the price of fuel and the way people complain,
one would think these guys hauling their cars to the track would
slow down, but once you take a look around at all the dually's, rigs,
enclosed trailers...etc, etc,. This country is just fine!

Sorry but this may be out for me now, My grandmother passed away this morning.:(
It would have been a pleasure to help entertain your kiddo though, maybe the next time. When I don't race, and I have not been doing much this year, I bring the boys and the Pacifica so feel free. They always end up watching tv.

Oh and if your car is in good condition I wouldn't worry about shut down area. I have seen at least a couple NMRA Super Street Outlaw cars make passes there.
