Why this info is so hard to find from a reliable source...I don't know. What is the weight of a 2003 Mustang GT? I'd like to see how much weight I've really taken off.

I think they are n the 3300 to 3400 range.

3550 stands out to me from memory. I can account for about 325 lbs, and the car in race trim weighs 3075.

3400-3500 depending on options that the car has. Leather vs. cloth seats, mach1000/500 audio or not all makes a difference.

Not a new edge car, but I had a 96 GT 248a (manual windows/locks, cloth v6 seats) car that weighed 3250lbs on a truck scale. I'd imagine that would be within 100-150 lbs of the newer ones.

Suprisingly, my 94 Tbird with the AL block explorer engine only weighed in at 3460lbs. The only other weight reduction done to it was to remove the back seat.

My 99Gt Fully loaded power everything was 3560 with me in it at E20 and I'm 220.... It did have lighter than stock wheels though..

what all have you done for weight reduction? thats pretty light.

k-member, a-arms, internal bumper deletes front and back, full trunk delete, front sway bar delete, egr gone, coil overs up front, a ton of little odds and ends from front to back, and when I run I have the front and rear seat out.

Fuel is 7.7 lbs. per gallon so a full 20 gallon tank can add or remove about 150 lbs.
Difference between the 15 inch Mag 500 streets, and the Slicks & Skinnies Welds, is 80 lbs.
