I'm selling my truck. We're going to be buying a house within a few months, so I'd like to get rid of the payment and get something smaller (and cheaper) until we're settled in.
2005 Tacoma Access Cab with the TRD Sport package. 4WD, 4.0 V6, 5-speed auto. It's really fast for a midsize pickup. (15.2-ish quarter mile from what I've seen) Power windows, locks, and mirrors. Eclipse DVD-based navigation system with steering wheel controls and Sirius satellite radio. Overhead compass/thermometer, sliding rear window, towing package, tinted windows, and I've added a 3M clear bra to keep the rock chips to a minimum. The sport package adds color-matched grille, mirrors, door handles and rear bumper, as well as 17" wheels, special Bilstein shocks and a Limited Slip differential.
I'm SUPER anal about the truck, so there are no door dings, and only a couple of really light scratches in 2 or 3 spots. No rust since it spent it's first 2.5 years in AZ. The oil has been changed with Mobil 1 since the first oil change, and all of the differentials have Royal Purple gear oil. It has just over 44k miles on it now.
The truck gets 19-20mpgs no matter how hard I flog on it, and I've seen 3 tanks that have gotten 23mpg when I've been babying the throttle. The tires still have another year or so on them, and there are zero issues with the truck. It's a Toyota, so reliability isn't an issue, and resale value is really good. If you're in the market for a truck, you really should drive a Tacoma before you make a move. It's so much nicer than any other truck in it's class, you won't believe it.
I'm asking $19,500 for board members, and I'm going to list it on classified sites for $20,500. If you don't want the Nav/Sirius I'll put the factory radio back in and sell it for $500 less.
