Got a chance to run "The Dragon"

That was pretty fun--even in a 4 door Grand Am filled with stuff.

I had to go to Fla to pick up a car. Took a few detours and got to see Daytona International Raceway, Daytona Beach and the Tail.

Not a bad trip--pics later.

LOL, I ran it a few times in my Civic years ago, not even trying, only hit 3rd gear two-three times and still got the brakes hot.

It was a BLAST!

If you have the time, I started out at Sugarland center, just inside the national park @ Gatlinburg, went to Cades Cove, headed thru Townsend to Foothills Parkway, then the Dragon, then headed back thru Cherokee and across Newfound Gap Road.

Talk about being wore out from driving.

I have taken the bike out there many times, and it never got old. First time I ever drug a knee was there...I LOVE THAT PLACE!!

We took the T/A there last summer, before all the cops cracked down on it. It was a lot of fun!

Yeah there were cops on both ends when we came thru in the spring.:( Volvo Cross Country isn't bad thru there though. Even w/ 3 bikes on top and three dudes and all there gear:cool1:
