Congratulations to Ken Griffey Jr. for hitting his number 600 home run today against the Marlins. Too bad he didn't here in Cincinnati though.

I've always loved Griff, I thought it was cool that he took a pay cut to play here in Cincy. They better not let him leave here next season. I'd love to see him retire a Red.

WE HAVE BEEN PREPARING FOR THAT FOR OVER A MONTH. I HAVE TO GO TO THE GAB TO INSTALL MORE GRAPHICS ON THE WALL. WE SPENT SOM TIM ON THE 16' X 54' BANNER IT WAS ALL ONE PIECE AND WE PRINTED IN IT 1 HOUR! IT WAS NEAT.

Just imagine where he could have been had he not had all the lower body problems since coming to the Reds. Always have loved Griffey Jr as a player.

With all the games that he has missed over the years, it adds up to 4 full seasons. That's a 162 game schedule. Even if he he hit just an average 30 home runs a year that would give him another 120 and put him @ 720. That's incredible to think. He could have beat Aaron's (the real record) by the time he was 40 if not sooner. The only other person with a real shot playing now is A-Rod... I thought somebody would have got on here and ripped Jr by now. He was a stud in Seattle. That turf killed his career..
On another note Derek Jeter could actually break Pete's hit record..If not he will be very close.
