I think it would be a good idea for those of us that drive every day,to post up the gas prices around your area.......I live in Colerain,Mt healthy area, and the gas prices near me are ......................
3.81 At UDF,Marathon, and sunoco on hamilton by the police department.
And I also saw 3.99 on union Center in west chester at shell and bp.

Well you definitely want to check the time and date that it was posted. I have seen gas prices around mason drop 10 cents on the morning then go up 40 cents in the afternoon.

Why bother? The difference between $3.75 a gallon and $3.95 a gallon on a 20 gallon tank is only $4.00.

Unless you all of a sudden find gas for $3.00 a gallon, is it really worth it to go out of your way?

Not worth it to go out of your way, but worth it to know where you can stop along your daily route.

Speedway on Montgomery at Union Cemetary has been the cheapest, but the new Thorton's right off 275 in Milford is cheap also, both along my daily route.

Also when using gasbuddy, set it to the last 4 hours or 8 hours to get the latest entries.

Speedway on Montgomery at Union Cemetary has been the cheapest, You don't know about Greedway's price SPIKING strategy ?

On those Gasprices.com sites in this region (Ohio, Indiana and Michigan), it's a well know fact that Greedway "usually" SPIKES prices on Tuesday AMs. All the other stations follow Greedways prices.

Greedway holds these prices for 5-6 days or so and then DROPS their prices before everyone else.

There's been investigations into Greedway's practices, yet the continue. Pretty shitty but apparently legal.

Greedway has done this Spiking strategy for many years in our region.

Go sign up at www.CincyGasPrices.com or www.DaytonGasPrices.com and go read the local message forum. They discuss this issue to death.

Its not that i search for the lowest price and haul off and get gas there.I like to know where its at so that i can plan my driving. So instead of driving past a station with 4 bucks a gallon, ill plan my route differently (no difference in mileage of course) and swing by the station with 360 a gallon. With my car getting such shitty terrible mileage,i need the lowest.I just got close to 150 miles to a tank. Why in the hell is my car running so rich????

katmandu, yes I know about them being the first to jack the prices, I usually beat them by filling up Monday night. Most stations follow Speedway, Swifty is usually the last though.

I can hit the one in Milford or if going to the hobby shop in Fairfield, the one by the old Rinks.

http://money.cnn.com/2008/06/06/markets/markets_newyork/?postversion=2008060614It's gotten totally out of hand.

The experts are STILL saying $4/gallon. Now with oil near $140/barrell and RISING fast, I hate to see what coming down the road for prices at the pump!!

I'm sure $5-6/Gallon will be a reality BEFORE we all know it!

I'm seriously contemplating selling/trading my Vert or my Big Diesel in for an economy box. :barf: Hate like hell to do either, but reality is sometimes hard to swallow. I commute (70) miles/day and need to do so for at least another (15) years!

I don't know WTF to do at this juncture.

Wait to long and all the econoboxes will be to expensive (look at used VW TDIs!) Will the values of our V8s begin to deflate like Tahoes and Excursions ??

I mean SERIOUSLY now. :confused::confused::confused:

I like my Civic, you can laugh now.....but I still hate the gas prices!

Atleast I've gotten a $5 per day raise in the past few months to cover gas costs.

If someone speculates it, it will happen.
It's like the oil companies are listening to the media, kicking back and saying "Well...the news media is conditioning them for $X.XX a gallon gas, so next week, thats what they'll get!" Sounds far fetched I know, but it just seems that way.
