CLERMONT CO. -- A Clermont County man who claimed he tripped and fell onto a sleeping woman while trying to return a dog was sentenced to four years in prison Tuesday for gross sexual imposition and burglary.

Phillip Daniel, 33, of Long Lake Drive in Union Township, could have received up to 10 years, said Assistant Prosecutor Scott Smith.

Daniel pleaded guilty to the July 3 offense, which occurred in a bedroom where the woman was sleeping with her boyfriend. Daniel claimed he was putting the dog in the bedroom when he tripped and fell on her.

Judge Victor M. Haddad of Common Pleas Court ordered that Daniel report as a sex offender for 15 years after getting out of prison..

So why did he plead guilty if he just tripped? LOL. Who would even believe that story?

Gotta watch those used car salesman. :cool2:

When I was 16 I worked as a Lot attendant at a local car dealer. One of the salesman there was charged with 1st degree murder after he shot his grandparents with a .22 caliber.

The courts didn't have enough evidence (at the time) to formally charge him so he was still FREE. The dealership manager placed him in a small office way in the back. He was taken off the sales floor and was ordering parts for the body shop.

I had to go inside his tiny office a couple times a day to retrieve the key to the gas pump. The dude had the beediest cold eyes I have ever seen in a human being! Used to freak me the hell out going to get that damn key!

He eventually got convicted and is currently serving on death row.

If dealerships did background checks they wouldn't have any employees. I don't know about you guys but when I walk my beagle I always roam thru my neighbors houses, and no I don't use a scooper....
