The notary only notarizes the sellers signature its not illegal to notarize a title to an open title. Unless my notary is full of shit :lol: So you should be able to do it at a bank if your trying to do what I think you are.

Exactly, so the seller would have had to have gone into a bank, and had the notary witness them sign his name, while providing his drivers license.

It was late, banks were closed, and I HAD to have the car to drive to work today. I sold my daily on saturday and the deal fell through for the other car I was going to pick up(guy couldn't find the title.....).
