This is complete shit. :mad:

I took my phone in for repair Tuesday and they couldnt fix it so they had to order me a new one. Drive all the way out to Florence to get my new one yesterday and it took them an hour and a half to get the program switched over to this new Hybrid phone.:rolleyes: After sitting there all that time, dude tells me it still doesnt work, but its just a system back log and it could take up to two hours for service to reach the phone. haha So here I sit 18 hours later with no phone on my birthday. I just tried calling out there and noone answered.
I wonder what time they open today...if they do work today. :confused:


This is stupid. Id kinda like to have my phone on my B-day so my family can call me. :(

You should have contacted Justin (Camaro86Shocker). He takes care of all of our Sprint stuff for us! Hope you get it figured out soon - if not I would definitely give him a call. ;)

Just got off the phone with dude from the Florence store. Its a system problem and I probably will not have service for the next 48 hours.

last summer i went to sprint and got a new phone 1 week later my phone says it needs to update ok. so i let update and the thing locks up, so i go back to sprint they say no prob come back in 30 mins. i come back and still no phone they said that they cant figure it out so they call around . a whole day at sprint wasted. come back the next day same thing , so im like just give me a new phone , sorry sir not that easy. so in the end to fix my phone they had to delete my account and gave me a new phone . and it only took 4 days wwwwwooooooooottttt.

I had a very Bad experience with Sprint. After only 4 months of my contract being up and me bitching about NEVER having service, they finally let me out of my contract. Free of charge. Best thing they ever did for me.

Wow what a great guy!

Mike spent over an hour on the phone with the Sprint people working hard to get me going.
Turns out I got a bum phone from the Florence store yesterday. He hooked me up with a loaner phone and took great care of me. I know where to go for all my cell phone needs now! ;)

If you need any phone help I recomend going to see Mike. Hell of a good guy! :bigthumb

It was really good meeting you, and I'll keep you posted on when we get that BB Pearl in for you. I think you'll be MUCH happier with the solution we talked about.

We had Sprint for 2 years. OK service, but we had the "buy one get one free" phones. AT&T has been good to us so far. I really dig this Sony Ericsson w580i I got now, but the more I see the BB's, the more I like them

I love Sprint, I have been with them since 1999, even had the same cell number since then. My phone even got service down at the farm on Saturday. :eek:

I've never had problems with reception, service, or anything to do with Sprint. I get a new phone every two years, costs me between $50 and $100 for a new one (with my discount). It runs me about $65 a month, for 500 minutes I never use, unlimited texting, picture pack, internet, pretty much everything I can get on it. I currently have a Katana DLX in gold, I love it.

My loaned phone is working great, but I just called the Florence store to explain the bum phone issue to them and they are being hard headed.

Suposedly any hybrid phone put on line last week got a 48 hr. trouble ticket.
Dude told me my new phone wont work till Tomorrow at the earliest no matter what.
How funny it is...my loaner phone is a Hybrid as well, but it came into service almost instantly.

Some people are just fucking douche bags. :(

Time to call customer care and make a complaint. There is no reason someone should sit around waiting half a fucking week for a phone to get service. How unfair is that?

Oh my....Just when I think all this mess has blown over and I can go on with my life with my new replacement phone, I get lied to, cheated and stole from! :eek:


Ok, this may get long but its a pretty good story. Basically anything that could go wrong did. The point of this story is to keep Sprint from as many new customers as possible! If you have Sprint currently, sorry but I hope you have a better relationship with them than I have. If you are thinking about becoming a Sprint customer, RUN! stay away. their only concern is your money and they dont think they should have to earn it!

Before I explain all the bad experiences Ive had in the last two weeks, let me tell you the good stuff. Mike from Sprint on Beechmont is one of the best people in the industry. He is also a good stand up guy. He took great care of me and spent hours of his time to help me and didnt get a dime out of it! He pulled a brand new phone out of the box for me to borrow on my birthday so I wouldnt be without a phone. On top of that he was going to give me an insane deal on a new phone. Too bad I dont want to be a Sprint customer any longer. I dont want to give them another penny of my hard earned money. :mad:

After two weeks the Florence store finally got me a working replacement IC902 Hybrid phone. If it weren't for Mike I would have spent that entire time without a phone at all. Sprint customer care didnt care.

While I was waiting for the Florence store to order my replacement phone the second time I received a survey call form Sprint last Wed. The lady was super nice and acted as if she wanted to do everything in her power to get me my new phone. She offered to overnight a new phone straight to me so I didnt have to wait on the Florence store. Great news! I should have my new phone Thurs. and be back in business. I was excited I was getting taken care of.

Thurs comes and goes, no phone. Friday comes and almost goes. UPS brings no phone. I called the Florence store at the end of the day and sure enough they have my replacement phone. So I drive out there for the third time and they get me squared away. The nice guy helping me at the Florence store notices on my account that my contract was reset for 2 full years on Wed.
Oh shit, Im pissed. :mad:
Not only did that whore lie to me and not send me a phone, she also reset my contract like she was selling me a phone. So I called to complain about this issue and get a very rude customer service lady. She resets my contract to the way it was before but is very rude about it and tries to make it seem like its my fault. No apologizes about me being 2 weeks without my phone either. Must be my fault. :rolleyes:

Fast forward to Tuesday. I go in to see Mike at Sprint on Beechmont about hooking me up with that new sexy Blackberry Pearl. "sorry Matt, but when they reset your contract it took away all your upgrade eligibility. You wont be able to get a good deal on a new phone till 2010"
Looks like I'll have to call and complain some more.

Today my phone gets shut off and I get this email...

Confirmation - Update to Your Sprint Account is Complete

Dear MATTHEW JOHNSON,

Sprint has completed a modification(s) to your account. Please review this confirmation carefully to ensure

Wow, sure looks like my phone was shut off because I didnt pay my bill. :lol:
So I call to complain again and I get this shit.
Turns out that nice lady who was going to overnight me a phone and didnt, (lie) reset my account (cheat), and got my checking account info somehow and tried to charge me $200 for some reason (steal)!!! :eek:
Turns out the money was not in my account to take so it bounced and came back looking like I didnt pay a bill so they shut my fucking phone off!!!! I am pissed at this point!

They turned my phone back on and gave me a big story about how they are investigating it. Im supposed to get a call back in a day or two.

Do you think Id be wrong if I asked to be let out of my contract?

no problems with my Nextel account, over a year since my contact expired, they call DAILY trying to get me commited again.

If I ever decide to need a new phone, I'll be going back to Mike on Beechmont. When I needed my phone, he met me at the Milford store, the drove me to the main store.

Mike might be a shit talking former poopra owner, but he does know how to handle his phone business.

Holy shit! My phone was turned off again this morniing. SO I check my email and sure enough they tried to charge me a $200 fee again! I cant believe this! This is unreal!

Im trying to call and have my contract terminated but their computer systems are down so they cant help me with anything for 2 hours. How convenient! Im pissed! :AR15:
