any help is good help. i have found some of the parts just from my knowledge. i have found that i will need a bellhousing, trans yoke, and a 26 spline clutch disc. i have a shifter. its going in a 86 gt with a 351w. the t-5 finally went. thanks for the help in advance.

All you will need is the cobra bellhousing from Jegs, may be able to get it at cincy speed. Other than that mine went in perfect with no mods needed. Also I would go with an aluminum deiveshaft and u won't need to do anything with the yoke. let me know if you have any questions at all.... this swap was easy n I can help out if u need....

Your on the right track, dont forget the driveshaft spacer (TKO is shorter than a t5).

thanks for the help. someone told me its a little long so i was worried bout the whole shaft length lol. but yea all of the parts i have listed i stock in our main jegs. thanks for the help. how did your tko shift at high rpms?

shifts fine.... but I didn't need any driveshaft spacer with my 600...?

hum thats odd. is there a special drive shaft beside motorsports alum.?
