Got this hood for $25 from a guy who lives in the same community as me, it came off of a '98 Cobra and the guy kept it because it wasnt in too bad of shape, the car had hit a deer and only ruined the hood and scratched the paint on the nose, soo... Hood replaced, nose repainted. He decided he wanted to do some spring cleaning and thats how I got it cheap. Should be on the GT sometime this week with a scuff-up and cheap rattle-can gloss black:bigthumb

Thanks guys, The hood had 3 decent sized cracks on the top of the hood where it had been bent down and broke, the bottom had about 5 major cracks, On the top where there were 3 cracks the top and bottom of the hood had separated, so when I used the Bondo-Glass on it, I generously put some between the fiberglass material and used C-clamps to hold it all together, worked perfect, now I just have to build the hood back up to its original shape and its ready to go!

Worked on it this morning for about 2 hours, I'll post up some more pics tonight, It's getting close

Well I got anxious and stuck the hood on the car... and instead of gloss black I just hit it with black primer and I didnt finish it underneath... Oh well I dont care. I'll take it off later and make it perfect and ACTUALLY paint it so for now I guess this makes me part of the flat black hood club, lol, anyway, It doesnt fit perfect since it didnt come off this car, but it shuts and latches perfect and it looks pretty mean.

The grilles inside the scoops are made of chicken wire :cool1:

Next time the hood comes off I am going to find a way to make the chicken wire more permanent
