Hi I am looking for a medium-sized dog! It can be either a puppy, or young (under 2 years old). I have been looking at many different breeds and mixes, including boxers, labs, collies, pits, hounds and beagles, but am open to anything in between. Full grown, I do not want it to be larger than 55 pounds. I do not have a preference between male or female, but if it is not a puppy, it must be completely house broken. Also, I would prefer to not have a type of terrier or a breed with TONS of energy....ALL the time! If you have a puppy or young dog that fits the above description, or know anyone who does, please reply to this ad. I would take excellent care of him/her and take it for walks every night after work, spend tons of time with it on the weekend, and take it to play with my parents dogs. I will be on vacation next week, but could look at it this week or when I get back in town on Monday, June 2nd. Thanks!

Why would you even post that!?! Did you think I wouldn't see this? :HYF:

Good luck finding one, I love my two dogs. Terriers aren't that bad...I have a yorkie and a boston. The yorkie is very cuddly and will lay around all day with you, but the boston definitely has a lot more energy. He's not quite normal, but lovable all the same. Good luck in your search!

I am fostering a dog right now that needs a home. He's a mix, about 45-50 pounds, probably about a year old, maybe older. There is some paperwork involved, but he's a good dog.

If you search my name, you'll find the thread with his pic in it. The dog's name is Brigsy.

Let me know

Get the dog from Ken he has way to many form what he has said. It would be one less mouth and ass for him to take care of.

Jeff... Shelby still lives at my mom's house, I just want to get a (smaller) dog to live with me. Speaking of which, you need to bring Tank over so he can meet and play with Shelby... He would be in puppy love over her. She is almost 90lbs now, but too big to live with me :(

And lol... Yeah. Well I have asked around to people at work and looked at one over the weekend, but she wasn’t quite what I was looking for. I thought I would explore my options and take one off someone’s hands who is an unfortunate situation, or rescue one from a group or the pound. I’ve seen a few I’ll probably look at after I get back from vacation, but am exploring my options at the same time.

I already messaged the guy who posted a dog he needs to get rid of. I haven't heard back from him yet though.

Thanks to those of you who are trying to help out, I appreciate it!

Rescuing a dog is such a great joy.
My GSD is a pure bred that I paid quite a bit of money for from a breeder and my Pit is a pound puppy.
In the future it is all pound puppies for me.

Aw they are so cute! I really would love to get a pit mix, but I live in a condo so it can’t look TONS like a pit. I have always liked them and hopefully I can get one when I get a house and land….which isn’t too far down the road. Anyway, he/she is definitely adorable :P
