Buddy is wanting to go to the 31 spline axles in his Mach 1.
What's the most economical way of doing this.
I understand the explorer 8.8 is already 31 spline so one could just get one of those put in new axles and have the rear rebuilt if wanting a different gear ratio correct??
If so what year explorer rear end would one need to find? I am guessing pre 2002 since that's when they went to the IRS set up.
