I mean come on! How much more can go wrong with my stupid car? This is all about my 67 ProStreet Camaro. I had Budke do a back half on this POS way back when. Early this year when I took it to the body shop I noticed the roll bar is crooked. I just bought a Kirkey seat to try out, and don't it figure I got screwed on the side bars too. They are mounted inward of the rocker panel, so the side of the seat hits the bar. It would be OK if it was up just a touch more and on the mounting brackets, but it's right on the floor! I swear I'm about done with this shit! I finally felt like I was going to get somewhere with it (paint and stuff) but I feel like burning it to the ground! I'm going to do all the work on my 65 myself because you just can't trust someone else to do it right.

I'm dealing w/ the same thing. The cage was built long before I tried to bolt my Corbeaus in so is not the cage builders fault. Anyway my bar hits the side of the seat so I will have to make some adjustments to the bar. Kinda sucks but I'd really like to keep the seats.

I could see if it was a mistake about using some newer seat, but the stock seats didn't fit with out getting smashed up from the bars. The problem is that I made it clear it was a Pro Street car, so some sort of seat has to go in it. The longer it takes me to build it the more I grow sick of it. I'm waiting for this one to stop soaking up all my money so I can get my 65 started on it's resto-mod build.

Best of luck with your project though. I hope it goes much faster than mine.
