I filled the Charger up last night, $3.54 a gallon on 125, cost me $60 to fill it. Kevin and I are driving up towards Dayton on Saturday, so I figured I might as well fill up, glad I did now.

Last Saturday it cost me $60 to fill up our Grand Cherokee. That is the most I have ever spent at the pump.

I broke down and put the E85 in my explorer it says that the octane rating is over 100. I did notice a little more pep in it and the idle really smoothed out nice. Not to mention at Kroger with your plus card it's $3.19 a gallon.

Is this ever going to end? The more it goes up, the more of a hole we're putting ourselves in.

E85 is a godsend for me in the Stang right now. Only getting ~15mpg in town now after switching to the Drag radials and skinnies but I am still paying $2.88/gallon instead of $3.80+ so I still save.

I just put Royal Purple in the Escape and changed the air filter to see if it would get a little better mileage than the 17-19 I have been getting since I bought it.

What weight of Royal Purple did you put in your escape? And does your escape have the 4.0?

I filled up at Swiftys a few days ago. It said 3.54 a gallon but if you pump it yourself and pay cash, it takes .5 more cents off. So I paid $3.49 a gallon.:bigthumb

i love swiftys, would there be an issue mixing regular gas with the e85?

On a flex fuel car? Not not really. The only real issues I have heard of is if you only put 1 or 2 gallons of gas in when you are running E85 or visa versa. The sensors can't tell a difference unless you add more fuel than that and don't make the appropriate timing and fuel changes.
