I'm a bit worried about my 2 year old Bordie Collie Greyhound Mix.

Went to my folks house and they had her on a long leash in the back. When she saw me she sprinted twoards me and clothslined her self.
She then started to freak out and started jerking every which way to try to escape the leash.

Since then, she is showing weird symptoms. She wouldn't go down the stairs, I had to carry her. She would not go up the stairs either. But it was like, weird, she started to go up one SLOWLY, then like forgot how to go up the rest.

And now when I take her out side to play, she will run at about 1/4 speed that she usually does. She has become uninterested in playing fetch as well.

It seems like she hurt her self but I can get no pain responses out of her.

Any ideas?

Just spooked herself perhaps?

I'm using that same judgment, I just don't want to bury my head in the sand in case something else could be at issue.

If it continues for another day or so, i would take her to the vet and have her looked at, it definitely wont hurt.

Could have sprained some neck or back muscle's or even injured her spine if she jerked hard enough. I would take her to vet just to be sure.

I agree. Dogs have back stucture like we do and they can sprain/pull/break stuff. Maybe push on her body in various places lightly a little bit and try to narrow it down to where the inuury may be. Also how is her eating/drinking habits? Excessive urinating/diarrhea?

I had a cat that had a stroke, so its definately possible. Dont wait too long in getting her to the vet.
