I just wanted to apologize to everyone who was adversely affected by the Craig banning. I honestly felt I was doing the right thing. I’m Sorry! I guess I should have went to talk to Craig in person before I banned him. I have a temper and I'm hard headed, not a good combo!

I'm sure he will be back on here soon.

Once again I apologize!

I will be leaving Stangbangerz as soon as Holly finds someone to replace me. I will help the new person as much as I can until I’m gone!

Tim

I'm not sure that's what people are wanting as much as they are wanting you to be a little easier on that trigger finger (you admitted it). I'm not sure your the only one that needs to apologize either. It's been stated that all the facts are unknown. I like Craig and I grew up with Holly so with that being said I think that maybe a celebrity style death match needs to happen:lol:, wait I meant to say some serious talking, in person needs to be done and if it can't be resolved if Craig and the other party's involved feels it's better everybody parts ways then so be it and us as a group need to honor those wishes.

Just my 2 cents

Tim you have helped out a ton here..I dont think you need to hit the road..maybe just try to help make things right with the admins/mods/Craig.

I dont know all of what happened..but I know you have been here a LONG time if not from the start...

This whole situation is tearing everyone apart. People are taking sides and bickering way too much. Now it is going to cost us another member. Us being all the people in this little family. I think Everyone needs to step back, take a deep breath and think about SBZ as a whole. This is such a great place. It would be a shame to see it go down hill like this.

I've tried to look at this entire situation from a business perspective, which it is. Unless Holly has asked for your resignation, I don't think you should tender it. I just think that people should think about the things they do, and the long term effects. It sounds like the lesson has been learned. I think we've had enough people leave without losing you too.

I have been holding my tongue for a while on this whole subject. This is more than a car club, group of friends, folks that enjoy similar interests....we are a FAMILY. Its how this site and group of people felt from the start. It is what make everyone emotional. It is, honestly, what brought us all together and keeps us together. Vinny and the others made us feel that way from the very first contact! We need to continue that effort.

But like any family there will be times of disagreement, arguing, name calling, spite and hurtful actions towards each other. The way a family survives is to be honest and respectful enough to be able to discuss the issues amoungst themselves before serious actions are taken. To meet adversity within with open minds and a willingness to grow.

Sometimes the end is to agree to disagree. Sometimes it is a matter of misunderstanding (as usually happens when one reads typed words without seeing facial expressions or hearing the tone of the voice). But the bottom line is, no matter what, we are family and we stick together through thick and thin.

Tim, I respect you for stepping forward and admitting this. I sure it is not easy for you. I just hope and pray that the issues can be discussed by those that need to discuss them. Sometimes just getting everything out on the table allows the other to see or understand from a point they have never seen before.

A friend of mine had his own son run away from home after many years of disputes and tension. His son was gone for years without nearly a call. His parents had no idea where he was or even if he was alive. One fateful morning they got a call from the police in a far-away town. He had been arrested for some very serious crimes. My friend drove clear across the nation to go see his son. Most fathers may have not even gone, or might have simply turn his back. His first words to his son were something in the line of: I may not agree with everything you have done, I may hate the pain you have caused others and the torture you have put your mother through. But you are still my son, family can never be deserted.

I pray that we can ALL find ways to help pull this family together instead of trying to beat it down. We are only as strong as our weakest brother, let's pick him up and carry him!

It's a real shitty thing. I have a lot of feelings and opinions but i'm the type that stays out of the drama BS because i've got more than my own share in my life. There's things that have happened over there since 2-07 that i really haven't agreed with but hey, it's not my site and i'm just glad to have met so many cool people from there. All good things must come to an end and i'm afraid that without Vinny being there to put his foot in peoples asses, things have lost touch with what they originally were. I think Craig feels what i'm feeling on a much much larger scale and between all that, having kids, running a business and dealing with the loss of his best friend there's just too much on the guy's plate to sit back and bottle everything up.

The thing that truly pisses me off is that if people are offended by his words and actions they should take all these things into consideration, and being a friend they should try to work it out and not turn their back on him. People deal with stress in different ways apparently...some people voice it, some people ban their friends from silly internet forums.

+1! It takes a big man. I don't think leaving SBZ is the answer either. You're a great guy and bring a whole lot to this site. I do however wish we would hear a little more from the rest of the decision making party, who have been conspicuously silent since shortly after the announcement...

Never met you Tim ( i think:confused:) But, leaving isn't the answer. Then were just another member short. Hopefully all this goes away soon, and no frienships are ruined over words. My .02

I dont think that you need to leave Tim. I dont remember seeing anyone say that you need to leave. People need to stop leaving. I dont think Craig should have been banned but its all just drama, it WILL blow over it always does.

I know for a fact the people that some members are bashing have put countless hours into maintaining this board, and when you are constantly working on something day in and day out, trying your hardest to keep everybody happy, it can be very frustrating. Obviously a decision was made for a reason. I would say more than 95% of the people on here know nothing about the whole situation and are just nutswinging because they want to do what everybody else is doing, and that is hating on somebody even after they devoted many more hours to the board then most will even think about in their lifetime. I understand people are pissed off that their buddy got banned, and are just hearing his side of the story, and that is fine. If you dont agree with the decision made, that is fine, but everybody to turn around and bash people that have devoted countless hours with good intentions is pretty shitty. grow up and stop acting like a bunch of high school teenagers. Let the people that are involved take care of this outside of the public board, the drama does not need to be in every other post on here. If all you are going to do is bash people, then why post? what good does it do you? If you are truly involved with this situation and these people, then talk to them outside of the public posts because things like this are better off taken care of away from the public because there are too many people with pointless input and blow something that could be taken care of quickly way out of proportion and just piss more people off.
