I found out the hard way that the struts I bought will not work with SN spindles on a fox. So if your interested in keeping 4 lug and need the adjust ability and weight savings of an aluminum bodied coilover strut, I'll take a loss on them. I need to go to jegs tomorrow and buy something that will work. I paid 350.00 for them plus 20.00 shipping. I have another 15.00 in a replacement adjustment knob that didn't make it in the packaging. If you think you can use them, let me know.

I'm willing to make someone a great deal on these. I used the 175# springs on the strange struts that are on the car now. Anyone with a 302 would probably want a spring in the 130/150# range to begin with anyway.

Here is a PM that I sent another member last week.

"I bought them used with little use, but they were missing one of the adjusters for the top of the strut. I had to use the 14" springs for my setup because the car had to go to the shop and I didn't have time to ship some from summit. They're 38.00 each to replace them. I'd take 225.00 for them without springs. I have 385.00 in them. "

Here's a link to replacement springs.

Yes they're still for sale, but its only the struts and coilover assembly. I used the springs, so I cut the price, the info is in the second post.

still interested in struts. Please email pic to alldrains2@aol.com.
My car is an 86, still has the 4 lug with big block. What size spring would you suggest.

I just came in for a second, I'm out cleaning the garage up. I'll take some pics tonight and send them to your email. With the big block up front, your probably looking at springs in the 175# range. I was told between 150 and 175 for the stroked windsor / turbo combo. The turbo itself weighs @ 48#'s, so with the intercooler and all the tubing up front, it will probably be similar in nose weight.

Thanks,I'll get back to you after I get a chance to see the pics.

Sent them in an email, figured I'd put them in this thread also. You'll have to forgive the makeshift workbench, seems like the boat is useful this summer after all. :(
