A Big Thanks!!

I'd like to send out a BIG THANKS to Cincy Speed. I talked to Craig last week and set up my dyno session and we finally got to strap this thing to the dyno this morning at 10am. They worked their magic on the drivability and it's simply amazing!! They had it completely tuned and ready to race in just a short period of time...After 4 pulls I was EXTREMELY happy with the results and called it quits....

It made a total of 4 runs....

1st run- 400hp....blew off a hose at 4200

2nd run- 541hp...revved to 6000...A/F went a touch lean...so we added a little fuel to it and got ready for the 3rd pull

3rd pull- 535hp...blew off another hose at 5200...fixed that...and made my final 4th pull

4th pull- FINAL NUMBERS 550hp/540tq

This is a very safe tune and the A/F was perfect!!!!!...We could've easily played with some more timing and a bit more boost and could've made quite a bit more power, but with a stock block I didn't want to push my luck to far! A huge thanks to Craig and his entire crew at Cincy Speed!!

Nice #'s. If you don't have one I'd go ahead and invest in an a/f guage so you can keep an eye on them at all times. Keep the timing safe and the a/f where it needs to be and don't over rev it should stay together. Nice to see you finally got it where you wanted it.

Yeah I'm extremely happy with it..especially knowing how much the combo still has left in it. I started to go ahead and throw some more power to it and possibly see 600rwhp..but I thought I better do the smart thing and be happy with my mid 500's, lol. I guess it's now time to start saving for a good block...once that happens..it's GO TIME!!

Turbo automatics last alittle more. Easier on it then a 5 speed.

Ah just giving credit where credit is due! After getting the car home and driving it around a bit yesterday...I want to drive it everywhere I go now, lol. I made a little "test pass" in it already from a 2nd gear kick...after about 75ft of blackmarks..I clicked 3rd..left another 75ft of marks and just let out...that's not on radials either..that's with 28x9 slicks! And no...I dont need a 200 shot..if I want more power...it's pretty much at the turn of a knob..I thought about gunning for 600rwhp..but I dont think Adam was very anxious to turn it up any, lol. It's crazy just how much more power I think is capable if only I knew my block would hold!! Maybe around sept/nov. we'll crank it up a little!!!!!!!:cool1::D:lol:
