First, I purchased the pulleys locally, then while talking to MAC about exhaust mentioned I'd also picked up the pulleys. The tech I was talking to told me that the crank pulley was a "piggyback" pulley. They said that the MAC crank pulley bolts over the top of the existing stock pulley. I hadn't taken the pulleys out of the box yet at that point.
So, I put the pulleys on tonight. They're black powdercoated, and they'd been coated where the crank pulley slides over the shaft also. I had to sand all the powerder coating out. Oh, it's also not a "piggyback" pulley or whatever they were talking about. It actually replaces the stock crank pulley, so I'm not sure what that tech was talking about. Also, the width of the alternator pulley was wrong and wouldn't even go on once I got the old one off.
I'm thinking I should have spent the extra money to get a different brand.
