Blue Ash Airport
Co-Op Aircraft Service, Inc has a program for basically 5k


Butler County
Regional Airport
Pro Aero, Inc.
has one for about 6k

And

Warren County Airport
Warren County Flight School has a program for about 4k

The price I listed include instructor time and rental.

Just curious if any one can provide any education to me that would help me make the best decision on which school to go to? I am only looking to cert on Single Engine and I also want to cert on Instruments.

i work by lunken airport off kellogg ave and there at the airport is a few flying schools there. if you go with one of the schools at lunken just dont crash into the white warehouse across the street. alot of beer drinkers will be mad.

Might want to check out the airport, in Batavia. Sporty's has training there.

As far as cost, I don't know, but it was a cool place. (Went to a fly-in this past weekend, with my "brother inlaw")

I got mine ( Private Pilot) in Northern Michigan, So the only one around here I've heard good things about is Sporty's.. And yes look at at least $5,000.oo

I got my license from Co-op aviation about 10 years ago (back when it only cost around $2000).

Good guys, but all the instructors that were there when I was learning have all gone on to airline jobs. I don't know who's teaching there now.

No I am not an instructor. Instructor turnover is high so I don't know anyone that instructs there anymore. I would just go to http://www.sportys.com and you should be able to get all the info you need there.

i have my private pilot license....

vfr "visual flight reference" will take avg 50-60 hours of flight training avg costs....$6500-$7500

ifr "instrument flight reference"....another 50 hours ....another $6500- $7500

luckly i fly out of indiana

sportys & blue ash have a lot more of the guys who think because their plane burns more gas than yours, they are cooler....

i believe sportys & blue ash will easily cost you $130+ per hour
