I am far from a PETA member but I find that kind of disturbing. Prairie dogs populations are being wiped out because farmers find them to be a nuisance when they should actually be a protected species. I have no problem with people hunting especially when they eat what they kill but shooting them just to shoot them is just plain wrong.

Killing for a laugh is pretty stupid. I doubt those guys were farmers.

There are places in Texas where the farmers will pay you by the hour to kill those little buggers. They do some damage to the crops. Or so I have heard.
I had a customer invite me once. I had to decline. Not because I didn't want to go but I was too busy with work. Money before fun.
Maybe I should get a few and set them loose at the farm. LOL

Not only to the crops, but their dens/holes are a hazard to livestock, breaking a leg and such.

I bet I could take one of those little guys from 500 meters, high winds, and iron sights with an M-16 or AR-15.

I've shoot expert twice with the m16. Your streching it at 500m on those little targets.

yeah they are bit small. The dog target used at the 500 mark, doesn't have nearly that slender of a profile. I got 5th award expert when I was in.

I think the Dog target was used for the 200 & 300 rapid fire. The 500 meter was the Baker mod.
Not a chance.
The worlds most deadly weapon is a Marine, and his rifle;) Well, maybe take away the high wind part. Then it's believable. Had to qualify twice in Okinawa, talk about some serious crosswinds in 3 different directions:rolleyes:

Your right on the targets. I qualifid expert twice at lejeune. Went to oki my last year. Didn't have to qual then. Heard it was a bitch to shoot there. What was your m.o.s.?
