So I figured I might as well have a little fun with this and do the whole project post thing. So I picked up Ryan218's Convertable today. Car as I picked it up looked like this.

So far today I pulled all the nose off of it and repaired the small amount of core support damage. I have a parts list for tomorrows JY trip and I hope to find it all. Also I have to go pick up a 8.8 with 4:10 allready in it and a set of used/new lower control arms and stop at jegs and pick up the Pa performance valve body I ordered for her. My goal is to have her road worthy and these upgrades along with subframes done in time for the May 2nd Columbus racing track day at trails.
It is also going to install my 5 lug axles and new ranger rotors so I can run my big littles for now till I can order the 17x8/17x10 mavromont ponies.
Ps pm me if you have some cheap used upper control arms

Congrats on getting the car. Ryan put a whole lot of work in that car. Do his work justice and finish it. Then sell it back to him cheap.

Careful on those Mavromont ponies. If you are trying to do what they did in the article in 5.0 you probably won't be able to fit a tire as big as they did. Verts have the smallest wheelhouse of all fox bodies and won't allow quite as big of tire.

I think I am gonna just go with a 275 MT on it.
Went to JY today and not one fox to be seen! WTF this is the first time I have ever seen this yard NOT have one (Of course it is when I need parts and am on a time dead line!)
So anyway so today I gave her a tune up with msd cap rotor and Roush wires (alreay had for the fairmont) started pulling the intake for the leaking valve covers and painted the 90% of the car I have Semi gloss black so I can use it this summer. I am thinking Grabber orange come winter when I have time to strip it and weld up a few rust spots.
Ow and ryan don't worry I come give you a scary ride when it is done!

I installed the 4:10's and rebuilt the diff with the Carbon fiber clutchs and did the trans valve body but it is still on stands till I can locate a fender and parts for it. Oh and I 5 luged the rear too so far. I have yet to swap the front on install the lower control arms I have for it. If I don't get a fender soon I won't make the track day :(
