I fuggin hate em...there bottomless money pits!!!!!!! Just when you think you have EVERYTHING you need...it will still cost ya soooooo much more. I thought I had everything I needed to have my car back up and running by the weekend..until I remembered I didn't have any t-bolt clamps nor silicone couplers....so now...102 dollars later...they'll be here tomorrow!! And.....ya cant forget about my big fancy rocker arms banging on the valve covers begging for some more clearance...gotta love that!!!:mad::bangwall::HYF:

LOL, I was kidding :lol:. But I guess I've done enough projects to know that whatever I think I'm gonna spend, add a good 30-40% onto that and thats what it will cost.

I'm building a clone of a racecar...with all stock parts. Finding all the stock parts for a 5liter mustang is tough! No racecar here....100% street car/show car just drove on sunny days, lol.

Yeah I still need them forsure..I've just been a little busy working and trying to get some stuff together. I'll swing by tomorrow forsure and pick up the couplers from ya...I ordered all my t-bolt clamps already...I just didn't figure you'd have all the ones that I needed so I just ordered all of them together..but i'll call ya tomorrow forsure and swing by..

I'm all for building them up yourself, no better experience/reward but man is it 10X cheaper to buy one that's done.

I bought mine needing paint and with something broke in the engine, turned out to be a timing chain. Chassis/motor all was built stout with good stuff. After paint/wheels/nic-nacs I'd say my car is worth about twice what I've got in it.

On a side note, that line, "Doing Burnouts and poppin wheelies...that's what it's all about!!!" in your sig sums up my life lol... I mean really, I've been around some wicked cars in my life but I get as much joy out of watching a 6 cylinder truck do a one wheeler lol.

i feel your pain as well rob it its not the motor its the tranny if its not that its something 5 bucks to 1000 bucks seems to hit at the wrong time i want to sell mine from time to time as well or burn it lol:mad:

I had more fun out of my old stock coupe then I have out of any of the blower/turbo cars. It gets old being under the hood more then you drive em.

I'm there too! My car was almost done.... Then I better get an intercooler... then a brace... then more $$$ for fuel and a tune... and you know something is going to break or not be right on the dyno!:(
