Tomorrow I will get my new rims for the 06GT. I got a set of 18x10 anthricite bullets for the rear. Now I need to get a set of tires.
What size should I get?
Brand?
The car will mostly be a dd for the summer and parked in winter.
Do not have a ton of cash
Also anyone looking for a pair of bullits of an 06 gt (absolutly no curb rash). Any idea what I should ask for them?
Thanks,
Rodney

Contact Beth at Bob Sumeral Tire here in Fort Wright. She is the hook up for tires. She will go down the list of brands and prices. I am sure you will find something. That is going to take a wide tire so get something with an interesting tread pattern. That would look cool.

I just bought a set of 10.5's for the back of my car w/ some 315 BFG DR's. I got them through Discount Tire Direct $170 a piece. Orginally ordered the Nittos but they were on nat'l backorder. I think I might like the BFG's better.

These are 315/35/17 DR's Right? When did BFG change their tread design? These almost look similiar to the nittos.

I have had a ton of cars and seem to all need tires when I buy them or shortly ther after :D
So far the Toyo T1R has been the best summer tire I have owned. Honorable mentions go to Cooper Zeon 2XS, Yokohama ES100's seemed fine for the 3 months I had them. General exclaim UHP are nice for the price.
I would run a min 285-40-18 the T1R has a 295-35-18 that would be fine,
The Toyo R888 and R1R make a 315-30-18 that would be nasty on there. If you are wanting a competition type tire. For a summer daily in the rain ect.. I would run the T1R or something with more of a rain channel. The R888 and R1R will do fine in rain though. Not spectacular but fine.

Oh ok, I was pretty excited about a new tread. The nitto in the pic has two extra channels vs the nitto 315/35/17 I own.
