Kevin did a great job in his first time out on the big track! Here is a photo of him going into the Keyhole:

Thanks for taking those pics Dave, they look great. It was an awesome time, and I'm definately going to be doing more track days. Now I've got my wet track day out of the way I'm ready for some warm, dry weather!

Putnam Park, Indiana - May 17th and 18th (actually a great track to build confidence and skill without fear of hitting a wall or other immovable objects).

Craig, you listening? Or are you too chicken?

Are the Putnam park days you just refered to with NASA or other?

That's awesome Kevin. It takes skill to build a car like that. Then it takes BALLS to take it out on the roadrace track! Much respect.

those #11 & 12 Mustangs are sweet. :coo1:

What kind of car is that on pic #83? That thing is sexy as hell!

That would be a Mongoose - Z06 Powered and fast as hell. (www.mongoosems.com ...I think)

Some of the Mustangs that were running are the new Miller Cup guys that came out to get some seat time and tweak out the bugs.

I was working with the #55 Red 2000 R (Won AIX Saturday) and crew chief for the Panoz #48 for the Saturday Enduro - we had to retire early with windshield fogging issues and driveability in the wet.

That looks like fun. Is there a beginner's race anywhere close? Mine will be ready next year for something like that.

I was supposed to be at that track day, but I figured a closer track would be better for my first time so I registered for BeaveRun in PA.

Beaverun is a good track, not nearly as fast, but I do like the way you can take the back straight at a good gallop and see if you have the balls to keep you foot in it through the kink. The 1-2 combo is fun as well!
