Find me an 04 Cobra, around $25000, I'd prefer one to be whippled/KB'd. I'm just a little newer to those cars, so I don't know what NEEDS to be replaced when a bigger SC is put on. Anybody know of anything? If anyone knows a car they vouch for, I'll ship it.

I'm just worried the fast white one will be beat. Nitrous etc sorta scares me.

Are Cobras reliable at that power level?

Personally I wouldn't go near a Cobra with nitrous on it. Get the white one with the CCW wheels and then up grade the fuel system and throw on a Kenne Bell or Whipple. There is a guy up here is a KB 2.8H that is seeing some really nice results.

I would not buy white. All the plastic painted areas turn yellow, it's looks really bad. You'll regret it if you buy white and intend to keep it long term.

Lowest I can get that one for is $26,400, and that car has had FOUR owners. The second owner is the one who modded it.

I know the last body Z06's have came down but I've heard of people turning back to getting 03/04 cobras because of their potential and cost to modify. May I ask if you still have the Srt-4 or the reason for a Cobra?

At this point, I'm stuck on TRYING to find the perfect 2004, just so I don't have to worry about the head tick, or other problems.

I sold my yellow SRT-4 last week, and I was initially planning on getting into a 2002 Z06. I've already owned a 2000 C5, and I did love it, but not for straight line potential. It takes big money to make a C5Z fast, with the exception of nitrous.

Plus, Z06's prices are jacked right now, and thats scaring me off.

Thanks man. Its tough being patient right now, all my friends are out doing car stuff, and I'm at cruise-in's twice a week :mad:

I called about one today, stockish, really clean car, and the guy was rude. WTF, if you want to sell a car, just be nice for 3 minutes.

I asked for pictures (Only one was posted on his autotrader ad) and he told me if I wanted pics, I should bring a camera when I drive 230miles to look at the car.

I was looking for about a month for an 03-04. I came across a BUNCH online, but most were already modded. I wanted to get something that was more stock so I could do what I wanted to do to it. I was on Motortrend and I found the PERFECT car (for me anyway). Bone stock, 04 Comp orange, 1 owner, 30K miles. I was just like :eek:

I had parts ordered for it before I even got the car! I dropped it off at Cincyspeed and she's got quite the list of goodies so far.....
