What is a good software that I can download for free to resize pictures? Every time I try to attach a picture, it says it's way too big. We used to have some type of program on here, but it disappeared when Jason put in a new hard drive.
Any suggestions?
Chris - I have the puppy pictures but it won't let me attach them! I sent them to a couple of people hoping they can shrink them down for me.
Thanks for any help!

I use tinypic.com all you do is upload your file, it will then give you a file name which you copy and paste into email or web boards. it will give you other options as well for downsizing

You could just up load it to a site like photobucket.com. It automatically resizes the pictures.

I use LView Pro. It does a lot more too. You can change brightness, add lettering (labels) to your pictures and much much more.

There is a free version however the Pro version is $30.

You computer probably already has software on-board. You can resize in "MSPaint" and others. What program pops up when you double click on the file?

I think it paint you do it manually. It's under Image and then Attributes. And you punch in your numbers you want for width and height. If you have MS Office Picture Manager it's under Picture and then resize. I'm talking the toolbar at the top.

If you have Office 2003 you can you the picture manager, just use tools then resize. You can change by % or pixals. If you need to down load a program use google Picasa, it rocks.

I just use Photobucket. It's free and a lot quicker than hosting pics on any of the forums i go to and you don't have to worry about having too many files uploaded and going over your quota etc.
