Ford 347 crank rods forged pistons kit 5.4 rods

SCAT rotating assembly using a 3.400 inch stroke to make a FORD 347 engine ( for use on small block Ford 302 engines). This kit uses 5.400-inch connecting rods with a 3.400 stroke. The kit includes the crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, rings, rod and main bearings. The kit is SCAT # 1-94165 and includes the following parts:
CRANKSHAFT
· SCAT Part # 9-302-3400-5400-2123 Series 9000 Pro Comp lightweight cast crank.
· External balance. Crankshaft is an external balance design and would use 28oz style damper and flex plate/flywheel (not included).
· Crank is new and journals are standard size of 2.123 inch.
· Micro polished journals with chamfered oil holes.
CONNECTING RODS
SCAT Part # 2-ICR5400-927 Pro Stock connecting rod.
Rods made from 4340 forgings using ARP 8740 3/8 cap screw bolts. Note they are not made with the weaker 5140 forging that most kits at this price level are using.
The rods are a floating pin design with a .927 pin hole.
PISTONS
Keith Black FORGED piston part # KB9922.
Piston is a flat top 4 valve relief design (11cc).
Made from VMS-75 forged aluminum.
Approximate compression ratio of: 10.2:1 with 58cc, 9.5:1 with 64cc, and 9.0:1 with 69cc heads. (compression ratios based on .030 over).
Piston weight of 411-grams/ pin weight 132-grams. (Based on .030 over).
Spacer ring and TRU-ARC style lockrings included.
Pistons/rings available in: standard, .030, .040, and .060.
RINGS
Total Seal Plasma Moly rings part # CR-9090.
Standard tension oil ring.
Rings are 5/64, 5/64, and 3/16.
ROD AND MAIN BEARINGS
Clevite 77 rod and main bearings (note may be substituted with Federal Mogul bearings).
