I didnt taht is the problem the 99 and up cars had a tremec similar to the t45 that is in the 96-98 cars the shifter bolted down just the throw was different

Will this shifter fit in my 99 cobra been told i have a t45 bought a shifter from a fella said it was for my car but when i installed it would not let me shift into 1st gear.He gave me my money back.How can i find out which trans is in it.If it will fit my car i'll buy it Don.
