I recently installed upper and lower control arms on my '94 GT and over the past few weeks I've noticed that sometimes when I shift gears or throw it up a gear or two when slowing down that I get some sort of clunking/clinking/popping from the rear end... Is it even remotely possible that my 202,000 mile car maybe popped a torque box or two loose?

If you recently added them and now you're getting noise I'd get back over the bolts and check to see if they came loose.

lol. Check them and the bushings. Have you done any hard launches recently on DR's?

Was the suspension loaded when you tightened the control arm bolts?

Did you replace the bushings in the ears of the differential as well as the control arm bushings? That is what it sounds like to me...

Check your u-joints also.

Replaced the Bushings in the ears, brand new control arms with poly bushings, and the u-joints arent that old, I had them replaced with the Brute Force joints
