5.0 mustang mag. june 2008 featuring vinny5oh

since im new to this group i never had the pleasure to know vinny , but seems to have been a great guy.
ok i'm in florida right now, just finished dinner and decided to go get some starbucks coffee in a barnes and noble store. i see a new copy of 5.0 mustang and grab it and head to the coffee line and out the door i go. i just got home and started to read the story on vinny5oh half way done with the article.
so i thought would let everyone know about it and for you all to go get one and read about vinny5oh. so far from reading this article i feel like i have come to know and understand the man. And see a kickass mustang.

Vinny's cousin, Gregg, arranged a little photo shoot with them up in Columbus last September at National Trails Raceway. It sat in the car show all weekend next to the winning Pinks mustang. I took it down the track, for the first time that weekend.

The article and the pictures came out great! I want to thank everyone at 5.0 Magazine (KJ Jones, Mike Johnson and Steve Turner) for making this happen. If you have never had the pleasure of meeting these gentlemen, they are truely first class and I am proud to have them as friends. This was one of Vinny's goals with this car and I am glad we could make it happen.

Sadly, I find most of my subscribed mags on the stands a few days (up to a week)before I ever get mine via mail. :mad:

I didn't mean what "month" is printed on the cover...lol...because thats always 2-3 months ahead...dunno why they do that, but what I meant was if I go to Books-a-Million I can find the latest issue of certain mags on the shelf, then i usually get them in the mailbox a few days later.

I can't do that as long as it's in my name. That would involve getting some high priced insurance on it, plus it still needs some work, and quite honestly, I don't have the money to put into it to get it into running order.

Vinny was definitely one of a kind. He cracked me up every day of my life. I miss his jokes, his pranks, and his funny texts to me throughout the day.

I took the car cover and blankets off Twisted Twins last night, just to check on her. It still tears me up, every time. ;)
