Matt Maupin

I don't know where to post this so I will just post it here. I have some very very sad news to tell all of you. Matt Maupins remains have been found. I don't have any details other than that but it is for sure his remains. His mom and dad and close friends are all gathered over at the Yellow Ribbon Support Center right now. It will not be on the news for a while yet so that all friends and family can know first. I know a lot of you knew of him in one way or the other so I figured I would let you all know. Now we can honor our soldier right here in the USA and give him the proper burial that he so deserves. Rest in Peace Matt, You are my Hero. :(:(

I got to meet the Maupin family during the last Great American Cruise. Very nice and humble people and to raised a great person like Matt isn't hard to imagine. He gave all for his country and his parents have paid the ultimate price. May they find peace and comfort in knowing he's home now and in the arms of our lord.

Mr. Keith Maupin came and spoke at one of our youth football camps a few years ago, and what a genuine, real man he is! He really was able to get his message across to the boys at camp, and practically every boy hung around afterwards to shake his hand, and speak with him. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Maupin family. RIP Ssgt. Matt Maupin.

Was there last night along with alot of others. Was a very sad evening. But He is home now resting peacefully forever. We lit the way home for him last night. It was like we all could feel his presence. Rest in Peace Matt you are be missed so much!!:(
