As some of you know, Thornhill has recently changed hands. Mr. Meyer, the new owner, is highly committed to making things better for everyone who comes there. I'll post whatever updates I have, as should anyone else. Hopefully, this will stir up both new and old interest in the track and continue to make things better.
Pics of the old burnout box being torn out to come soon!

A nine second car should be fine as long it has decent brakes. It was dragsters that ran in the 7's is the big problem.

Well, it'll be slower than we all want, but it's happening so we're all getting pretty excited. I left at 3am Friday night and those guys were all still going strong with the concrete coming at 8am. Lord, the guy closed on the dragstrip at 4pm and was tearing into the concrete by 5pm.

April 5th, same day Matt and Jen are moving. I propose a moving party that lands at the dragstip later that night :)

I'm sure that'd be easy enough to work out. He said he didn't have a tape that long so he had to go heal-to-toe with a shorter tape. I think I have a 100 footer at the shop, won't be a problem to run down and snap a shot to post.

He's gettin lots, believe me. But April 5th the track will be open and I'm sure he'll be available for the many deserving pats on the back. :)
Looks like they are serious. How long is the shutdown there for 1/4 mile?
The full track is a 1/2 mile. So you have 1/4 shutdown. At the end is about another 400-500 feet of field before you get to the trees. There is talk about a gravel pit at the end, but I don't think they've decided yet.
I guess you said they ran 1/8th mile bracause some cars were going way fast. I wouldnt want to run much faster on the spray now without a parachute.
The 1/8 mile decision was based on the cost of insurance. The real cost was that 1/8 mile sucks. When the track reopens, it'll still be 1/8 mile for now... but he's working on it.

Most 9 second passes made down there have been by tube chassis cars with discs all the way around. My dad made a 132 mph pass a few years ago and he said things were getting creepy but it's 3200 pounds with just factory discs up front and big drums in back.
The Hill may not have been much to look at (with the way things are going that could be a thing of the past) but the track has never given me any problems and I've driven a few cars in the 6 second - lower 1/8 mile range. Less my first pass ever in a racecar I've NEVER had to lift there.
Unless you refuse to run 1/8 mile or bracket - which in a street car I understand - there's no reason to not run at the Hill.
EDIT: And I'm not going to miss the huge crack in the outside lane or the giant crater I have to dodge every pass lol.

On a side I'd like to thank Mr. Meyer for not only keeping it a track but doing such immediate and needed upgrades. That burnout box was in rough shape, you had to swing wide left to avoid a pothole then either stop short of a crack to do your burnout or go out past it and risk having no water.
Getting that right lane ground down will make the guys in rails VERY VERY VERY happy. EVERYONE that drives a dragster down there talks about the bump in the right lane. When I drove one they all told me to stay in it past the 1/8 mile to avoid letting up there and letting the front end jump. I know several guys with tons of passes in them that have had things get a little ugly on that bump. The left lane was bumpy too, I could feel the whole car bouncing side to side the entire track. In a door car the track is fine, it doesn't bother me a bit.
There's going to be a buzz about the Hill after Saturday night I'm sure.

I'll just quote my post from the NKYFBA instead of typing it all again:
Thorn Hill will be starting off the season April 5th with a couple updates that the racers have been waiting for for a long time. Friday night workers started tearing out the old burnout boxes and extending them. Work started at approximately 5 PM Friday and went straight through to Saturday afternoon. They worked non-stop through the night to ensure concrete could be poured Saturday morning for a full 7 days of cure time before the track opens April 5th.
The existing concrete was only 2-3 inches thick in most spots with no steel reinforcement. It had been badly broken up and the burnout boxes were covered in large holes. The new concrete is a minimum of 6 inches thick and fully reinforced with steel. The burnout boxes and roughly 40 feet in front of and behind them were replaced. This eliminated the large holes in the rapidly deteriorating pavement and will give racers more room to roll out of the burnout box since it will be further back.
Mr. Meyer also plans to grind down the high spots in track, most notably the right lane, this week as well if the weather allows. The track will open this Saturday, April 5th as planned and run the regular schedule, weather permitting.

Okay, here's news! First, entrance fees will be $30 and $35. $10 admission for spectators. First race is THIS Saturday, April 5th. Also, Gerald told me tonight that he was so convinced the track should be run as 1/4 mile, that he didn't even price 1/8 mile insurance. So, April 5th, the plan is to run 1/4 mile races. I'm going down on Weds to help set up the time computers and do some testing. We'll know then for sure if lights etc are going to allow us to run 1/4.
OKay, I'm going to be building the new Thornhill site in the next few weeks. If anyone has any pictures, of old or new, please send them. If you PM me I'll hit you back with a good email address for me. THANKS!
Here's another bit of interesting info.

It's 60 feet :| I dunno, don't ask me. When the tape read 60 feet, Gerald looked at me as confused as I looked at him. He blames the holder of the other end for the 58 foot reading. lol Anyway, now we know.

Good deal.....only concern is the 1/4 mile thingy...bracket 2= not a problem....Bracket 1..gonna be problems...I've raced there for years and even a slow car @ 2400 runin 9.70's @ 135 with good aerospace @ all 4 corners is hard to stop safely...let alone any diggers(R.E.D's ) running slow 8.'s@ 145 to 150....bracket 1 should stay 1/8 mile for Safety Sake....IMO......:bigthumb...

Ok... I thought it was just bracket 2. There's absolutely no way bracket 1 can be 1/4 mile. I can't even hit the SECOND turnoff in 1/8 mile sometimes, I'd be blasting through at 150 with no chance of getting stopped. Not to mention most of us box guys are set up for just 1/8 considering all the big races are 1/8 and E20 is the only track that even occassionaly runs 1/4 any more.
Bracket 2 should be 1/4 though, I'm glad to hear that.

So, how much shutdown do you need? The tracks is nearly .6 mile. Also, there are plans to, albeit not near future plans, to run the blacktop another 400-500 feet.

I've got Aerospace up front, stock small drums on the back. Running 114 I'd have to get on 'em hard to make sure I'd hit the 2nd turnoff. This year I'll be around 121 in the 1/8 and I'm completely expecting to hit the last turnoff every time (hopefully I'll get rear disks in a month or two but still).
Box should stay 1/8 mile. The racers would/will vote it to stay 1/8 if there was a vote, no doubt in my mind. When you make a million passes there's no adrenaline rush once the front end sits down and running 1/4 is just more gas/parts usage, we're all used to running 1/8 and the tight stripe. For bracket racing 1/8 mile is funner because it's more a drivers race than who has the consistant car. Any big money race around here is 1/8 mile, changing to 1/4 in box wouldn't bring anyone else in... If anything it'd lose some cars. I know of our group of 6 box cars, 4 are geared too high or not enough fuel pump to run 1/4. 4 are probably too fast for the shutdown without murdering the brakes every pass if they were geared down.
Like I said, I think it's great that no box is swapping to 1/4... That's the way it should be. If I drove my street car I'd HATE running 1/8. That's awesome there's plans on running the track out some, definetely needed. There are some fast cars (me included) that run in no box and that extra shutdown would keep us in there.

Well, I'll run it by Jerry and see what he thinks. Everyone has been screaming for the 1/4 back, and this thread is the first feedback anyone has given to keep running the 1/8, box or otherwise. Maybe when I put the site up, we'll have a vote.

Probably 10-15 years ago a guy had a mid engine truck... During a pass, about halfway out after a normal launch the truck started going all over the place, finally he collected it and finished the pass. My dad asked him what had happened... He said he spilled his beer when he shifted, apparently saving the beer was more important than keeping the truck going straight lol.
Most of the trashed people park at the end of the fence and give you awesome thumbs ups when you're coming up the return road haha, occasionaly they'll talk to you at the trailer or in the lanes... Always a fun conversation.

Ok... I'm confused, which is it? I'd hope for 6, at least the first weekend as I'm sure people will be trickling in up till 5:30.
The Hill will be fine from the Licking, it was fairly bad 5 or so years ago (not '97 but I think the worst since) and it wasn't even threatening really.
Moffet isn't the best (bad dropoffs and some iffy turns) but once you get through a couple sticky spots it's fine. I live directly off of it so I go that way. I'm not about to complain about a 4 mile trip.

Thornhill Dragstrip (http://www.thornhilldragstrip.com/index_files/Page308.htm)
I'm going to be adding directions for pulling a trailor in a bit. Best way is to come in from Alexandria down 27 probably, then across 10 to 177 and head back south.
I know a lot of people trailor their cars down Moffet Rd from KY-17 in Independence too.
I would say 27 to 536 is a much better route than 10. 10 is winding and bumpy.

Hmmm... no idea. First time I heard of it. Who knows what gets said after a few beers I guess... Someone just got confused I reckon.
So, now the bad news. There will be no 1/4 mile on Sat night. The 1/4 mile sensors don't work. We tried to get them replaced, but none of the local suppliers turned up empty. We did finally locate some new sensors in Dayton, but alas we were beat out by the lateness of the day and the distance we'd have had to travel.
We WILL be running 1/8 mile for both brackets on April 5th, but should have the 1/4 mile sensors back online for the 12th. Sometimes things just don't go the way you plan. The racing should still be awesome, and we hope to see you all out there having a good time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The racing was awesome tonight at Thorn Hill.
The new burnout boxes got great reviews by the drivers.
All the hard work and effort preparing the facility definitly paid off.
Well Done!:bigthumb

Yeah, the races were great but wasn't a very large crowd so racing was finished short of midnight. If you heard something later than that, it was probably just me leaving lol. Was really cool. The lights werehaving some trouble just short of the 6:00pm timed trial starting time but Greg, Travis and the rest of the crew did a really good job of getting things straight just in time. Nick Skaats and I got to start things off by making a couple of test passes just before timed runs got started. Got lots of pics and video, I'll be updating the website with pics, video, and elimination results each week.

Everyone I talked to was impressed. About five teams people said, "I love Al but I'm glad it's in better hands". They were also really impressed with all the work done in a short time and everyone understood things will take time. There wasn't a soul in the regular crowd that wasn't happy with the way things are going.
The crowd was kind of dissapointing but first weekend/mud is always going to be like that. I know our group will have 4 cars that weren't there this week there next weekend.
Everybody seemed busy, didn't get to talk to the new owner and I wanted to talk to Al but never got the chance.
People seemed pumped with the changes though, some people were talking about a Quick 16 (they had good crowds in '04/'05 but you'd have to gather sponsors to make it worth while... Just a once in the year type deal, a lot of spectators/new cars/guys turning the wick up). Just throwing it out there.
My pansy ass wasn't racing, I just kept telling people their burnouts sucked and that they needed to actually drive their cars... There were a couple of good ones that went to the tree because of us lol. I'll be out next weekend, apparently people were looking forward to flipping me off, it's still encouraged.

I've also heard mention of a 3rd bracket, I think that would be a great idea. Any of us who are serious about bracket racing would want it 1/8 but if someone wants to come screw around in their street car 1/4 mile would obviously be nice. It's a nice way to break people in as well. We'd probably double up my dads car if bracket 2 was 1/8 mile.
Clay City runs a street class, never a ton of cars but it makes people happy. Maybe like a 25 dollar entry fee to win $200 or something... I wouldn't think most of those guys would be in it to win the money anyway, just there to have a good time. $50 to runner up and $25 to semis. That's $300 in payout, 12 cars covers it. If you did $150 to the winner then 10 cars covers it.
Then you retain the guys in bracket 2 that want to run 1/8 and can only run 1/8, you still get the guys that want to mess around in their street car and bracket 1 is still happy. You could even just combine street/no box in time runs (leave the 1/4 mile timers on) to make things a little less time consuming. I was concerned about losing some of the 1/8 mile no box guys at the expense of gaining street cars but I think that would be the best solution is a 3rd bracket, pretty much all the bigger tracks run 3 brackets to help keep everyone happy.
I'm not a diehard no box guy, I live in box so I'm not best. Obviously it's always better to ask the drivers.

I need to keep rambling...
I think there might be some kinks early on to swapping to three brackets (mostly getting word out and dealing with the issue of calling another set of cars to the lanes and taking up more time, plus in general it's just one more thing to organize). However, the beauty of a street bracket is some random guy enters his car, has fun and keeps doing it but say they bring 2 spectators with them then that's another $20 because of the swap to street and it's less intimidating for those guys to start out racing against other street cars (although most 'street' classes don't have any limitations so a race car could enter but hey, it's another entry fee). You maintain your core and most important group of weekly guys while bringing in people who wouldn't normally run, I mean, I know somebody who'd probably want to race my Grand Am if I let him in street... He realizes he has no shot in no box but I think he'd be willing to run street. Classes like street help turn guys into weekly bracket racers if they have no previous experience with it.
On big race weekends, just do a bracket 1/2 combo and run street like normal or just keep it out to make sure you have time to fit in bracket 1/2.
I still like the idea of organizing a Quick 16 a lot, it'd be trying to get sponsors together in order to try and take out a big chunk of the purse... The crowds (racers and spectators) were always good for the Quick 16 and it was fun. Instant Karma Racing put them on the two years they did it, I was dissapointed when they weren't brought back. I'd turn the shit up on my car and do whatever possible to get in. Guys were sitting them on the bumper trying to get in so it's always a good show... They didn't even advertise it much.
Best advice I can give period is just talk to the racers, make them happy and that's all that matters. I loved Al because he always took care of us. I've been to some very nice tracks that will never stack up to the hill because they treat the racers like trash and just want their money. That's what I like about the new owner, he seems to really consider people are telling him and that's the best way to go about things.
On a side, if anyone brings a video camera next Saturday it'd be SWEEEEET if you video'd my POS Camaro my first pass... If I flip it over backwards or take out both guardrails I at least want video.

LOL... thanks! In fairness, he was on street tires, although with the track still cold I wasn't hooking up any better on drag radials than he was on streets. I actually found the time slips up in the tower from our "test run." I was .9 seconds faster in the 8th on both runs, but he was trapping 2-3mph faster, so he was at least catching up after he finally hooked. I've got some decent video of both runs too. I talked to Gerry yesterday about this at length. This is the way he's leaning. Al said his car count went up when he went to 1/8 mile on both brackets, because of exactly what you said... guys would pull the box and run Brackets I & II. However, there are a bloody TON of people, including myself that would never bother running 1/8 mile on streetable gears. I just hope time allows the Street Class 1/4. We just need to keep working on things, it'll take time to refine it all.

My 2 cents..lol..Been Bracket racing for several years...and IMO if you pay to BRACKET race...makes no sense(bracket racing) to race 1/4..If a 1/4 mile E.T is what you want...why not just do a bracket 3 "test and tune" witha time limit for the round between bracket 1 and 2(or after..) ....just for the guys that want a 1/4 E.T time and those who want a grudge type race..(little side betting LOL)....1/8 mile racing from my experiance,,less time to play games on top,,dial it right..and hit the tree...less gas,or alky, less cool down,,less time between brackets..and more of a chance to actually FINISH the event....instead of splitting the money at the end which happened alot to me at Thornhill....

Just because we have a "hot rod" that drives the street instead of a "race car" doesn't mean we don't want to compete. I don't want just a 1/4 mile time, I want to race my hot rod against the next guys hot rod. If one day I can afford to build a purpose built race car, maybe I'll do that.

You all might hate the no traction you had but it sure is fun to watch when it's not your car lol.
I think the main problem as you mentioned with a 3rd bracket is time constraints, that extra hour (on regular nights anyway) should go a long way. I ran both sides a few times last year and there are 3/4 guys that do it every weekend. I don't think a 3rd bracket could be run on big race weekends, on a normal one yes. We actually swapped motors so that I could double up my dads car, my box doesn't come out easy enough to be able to do it in mine.
Last year we didn't have much problems with not getting finished after the lights problem got fixed early in the year. In '06 I was in probably 6 times when they called it early, I didn't complain much because I got some good cash out of it... Too many of the guys that complain about not splitting are never even there when the splitting happens. I think it only happened once to me last year and we were at 5 cars. A few big races ran over but as I said that extra hour should prevent it. I wouldn't think a bracket 3 would add an extra hour on, even if it did things should still be fine.
This is just my opinion but I almost think it might be best to just stick to 1/8 mile until you made a decision on that, make people aware of it. Some of those people just can't stand change. I'm in it for whatever's good for the track. More money in means more money towards improvements, most of us realize that. Next weekend should be a better gauge of what a normal crowd down there is like.

Understand completely...Mines a Hot Rod,and no means a full blown race car..
I do know that at Thornhill,....some of the "RACE" cars run 13.'s or slower on slicks..:D Really,,,,Bracket racing for money...is about the Drivers skill, consistancy of the car ...not whether its 1/4 or 1/8...But 1/4mile racing ..has alot of head games....sandbagging,,etc..1/8 mile...on your game,,or its over ...I'm with what ever is decided....but ...I enjoy 1/8 mile more than 1/4.. unless I'm just playin..test and tune...for fun...

Earl Lee is the man, period. I talked to him for about 20 minutes Saturday, he cracks me up... You wouldn't think by talking to him that he's as good but the man can flat out drive. In 10 years, I've seen him win in a RV, several times in a van (including a 3k race) and put out 4 second 50k dragsters in his corsica. He told me he races the van because he just doesn't feel like going through the hassle of loading everything up to run his Nova lol. A stock Cadillac also won a 3 grander.
I've mentioned a street class to a few people today and they thought it'd be a great idea. Looks like there will possibly be two weeks to get a feel on things given the nasty weather forecast.

Yeah yeah...let the guy on drag radials talk trash to the guy on street tires. I still have several 12.20s timeslips without 3rd gear in the tranny :flipoff:. When you produce a timeslip I'll be interested in a real run. The R/T comes with practice, you'll get that down in no time at all.
Hey just for shits and giggles, I'm gonna make you work your way up. Once summer comes around and we both have our cars in proper racing order (I'll get on your wiring soon, I promise), I'll make your way up the ladder. You gotta beat my GTA to get to the Z, and the Z to get to my Formula.

I talked to a buddy of mine tonight that races alot. He was at the hill Sat night and then at Tri State on Sun and said after talking with alot of other racers felt that it would ultimately hurt the track if they switch bracket 2 back to 1/4 mile. So many guys are now set up for 1/8 mile that they would not come to Thornhill to race if it did go back to 1/4 mile. I very much can see his point and think it would be cool to add a street class for the guys who do wanna run the quarter.

I'll tell ya, Gerry is a totally different guy this week than he was last week. Today we just kinda hung at the track for a bit, made a couple of fun passes down the track(Gerry got his Gator up to 60mph!), and walked around the track and discussed plans. We ran to Longhorn's for some grub and just relaxed. After all the stress of last week, it's good to see him wind down. Almost time to get busy again, want those 1/4 mile lights up just in case weather turns out good.
I'm getting much better launching. I was having trouble making 100mph passes on nitrous just a few days ago, now I'm making 110mph passes off the bottle. If you wanna help with the wiring Nick, I'm probably going to get on it tomorrow if I have time. It's gotta be the bottle warmer circuit that cause the heat, nothing else really draws much current through the switches.

The weather is at least not looking quite as sucky. I think it mostly depends on how bad it downpours on Friday. Granted, it'll kill attendance again I'm sure. My car's officially ready, I'd just be happy to get one pass to be honest. I'm like a crack addict who goes to town for 7 months then can't use during the winter, I street raced my Grand Am... That's like a crackhead snorting Tylenol.
I've talked to guys who have been racing there for 20 years and they're all happy with the way things are going so the work is appreciated. Everyone seems to really like the idea of a street class, I think the only issue that could come of it is time constraints but like I said before I don't think on a normal night it would be an issue at all. Then fools like me will run box and no box. Hell, I'd be tempted to run my '69 in street. Too damn slow/inconsistant to get any joy out of 1/8 mile.

"We are absolutely dedicated to bringing 1/4 mile racing back to Thornhill. However, the system is in much worse disrepair than we originally anticipated. We’re working hard every night to get the 1/4 mile sensors online. Please be patient with us as we strive to make Thornhill a better place for racing.
Rather than continuing to make promises we can’t keep on dates the 1/4 mile will start, we’re going to continue to race 1/8 mile for Bracket I & II for the time being. We will continue to work and once we have 1/4 mile working, we’ll announce it here and on other forums. We expect this to only take a couple of weeks at the most.

It's not a "street car" class necessarily. We'll likely change the name of it to something that is more fitting once we get the lights up. We're running 1500 feet of conduit tomorrow and pulling brand new cable all the way from the tower to the 1/4 mile sensors. We're trying for Sat night, but don't want to promise it and let anyone down like last weekend. We WILL keep you all posted though.

We had a good time last night. The track was hooking up and the vega was liking the cooler air cause it ran some of its best 1/8th mile MPH's (120 to 121). :D It would spin just a little about 10ft out, but it was even and the car went straight.:bigthumb
I'm going to have to bring the Cutlass out for the street class, looked like a good turnout for the first night. :bigthumb(Edgewater's street class when I ran the points system, back in the day, only averaged between 30 and 45 street cars a night. I think it will bring out more cars to race that normally wouldn't race in the no-box class. After talking with Aaron and Dad, we were all happy with the track improvement so far, looking good. :bigthumb
BTW: That hand dryer in the bathroom was crazy. Damn near blow my skin off. And to this day is the only handdryer that actually dried my hands.:D That was a good improvement.

A decent amount of the quicker door cars couldn't hook up last night, it was weird the track usually hooks well. The street cars were hooking well, at least the ones I talked to.
PLEASE GET THE WIN LIGHTS FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha... people made fun of me for putting the hand dryer on the list of improvements on the website, but now you understand why I did! Glad you had a good time.
I think they decided last night that if the street class has 30 cars, at $20 (with $15 buy backs) it will pay $300/$100 first and second. $50 semi and $25 quarter final money.

Glad you had a good time! Win lights were completely disconnected when I hooked up the 1/4 mile sensors. Jerry is going to be setting posts in the ground to make the win lights a bit more permanent, and then will be hooking them back up. That's on my agenda for next Sat.
Also, Jerry is going to try to have the humps ground out of the track this week.
We're meeting with my attorney this week with hopes of setting up a "Test n Tune Club" which will allow us to run outside of the civil injuctions and do Test and Tunes on Friday nights.
There are a couple of other BIG improvements in the bag that should make everyone very happy, but I can't go there just yet. Soon as I have more solid info, I'll let everyone know.

I would love to see that happen...I'd be there with coupe to test....good bit closer than edgewater..without the ricer kids to deal with.

Thats for sure, 15 min drive for us compared to 45 to Edgewater or 50 for Tristate.

That is strange. We had 1.26's 60ft times all night (1.259 best ever at Edgewater all motor), except the last pass (it did spin).
I heard the rollout is different from someone saturday, but your delay was the same or similar to what we always run so not sure? Is it still 58ft or full 60 now?

The 60 foot sensors (both sides) measures 60 foot on my Stanley.
Come over on an early Saturday afternoon some day. Me and Hardcore will show you.:)

It is truly 60ft to the 60ft sensors. As far as I know, the 58ft wasn't even true... just some confusion somewhere. There are very distinctly marked spots for the sensors to sit.

I thought the track was hooking pretty well. My car doesn't hook for shit, but I'm on drag radials.

Me and Mark Dean (the black Mustang that runs 5.60's... Thanks to GM power ;)) were having issues as well as a couple heavier cars. I mean, it wasn't like I was all over the place, just that I never dead hooked like usual. I lost .02 in 60 ft. from the first weekend out. The first weekend out I dead hooked every pass. I've had plenty of 1.2X's there before with a smaller motor so it can/will be done. I'm launching so soft that I might need to crank it up but when I did this weekend it didn't help. I'll probably leave at 4200 next weekend instead of 3000 so it isn't flashing on the converter so hard if not I'll start hitting the coil overs. It can be overcome.
Some street cars I've seen hook better at the hill than elsewhere. I know in my slow '69 I cut the same 60 ft's there as I did at Tri-State with more gear.
Just throwing an idea out there... Back in the day they used to have pit bike races after racing was done with and they were freaking awesome. Everyone has a blast because what's better than a guy on a moped running down a golf cart with a driver and a passenger? Someone cut a .001 on a moped lol, then people were laying brake jobs down in golf carts. Only problem is you'd want to announce it early so that when people lose they don't load their stuff up. At big money races (Tri-State) where they have curfews they've actually had like $50 to enter and $2000 to win races, that's how much people like them. Just do like $15 a pop and see who does it, it's not like people expect runner up/semi money for it so you'd just have to pay whatever percentage to the winner. Plus it's not entirely time consuming because you can hot lap them. Plus it's good for a LOT of cheap laughs.

We actually were kidding about having them make a pass down the track, but alas we decided that maybe our Campbell Co neighbors would consider it a violation of the injunction. Idiots.
Looks great man. :bigthumb:bigthumb
Thanks!

I think we all need to get together and take a drive across the licking.
On a bright note I got the crank sensor fixed that caused my dead off the line run last time. I don't know how dumping the clutch caused a crank sensor to break but it sure did. Thing was broke in half right at the o-ring. Hopefully I'll be out this weekend to try it again.
