Now that i think about it, it doesn't surprise me as much. There was a guy who took a bone stock '03 and put a 25 point cage in it, a parachute on the back and salt flat rims and tires and drove his at Bonneville and broke 200mph in bone stock form.

Not that big of deal. I have had mine to 148 before and still pulling quite hard with just a 2.8 pulley. Smooth sailing as if I was going 65 in my truck.

When I was 18 I owned a 96 Cobra that I had up to 170mph on 275. Really stupid idea, but I was young then. I know the car had more but then I started to have second thoughts.
