I have a friend who lost his car keys and were not sure what to do. He has a 1991 Mustang GT. He called a lock smith and he was quoted $85-$200... Is there something cheaper we can do or is this the best route?

I did that before, it sucks!!

I bought a whole new steering columb form the local yard, I just made sure it came with a key. think it was like $75 but its a 89 with NO airbags ect.

as for the doors you can pull a door lock cyl and take it to them. it shouldnt be more then $40 for them to make a key for it. I just had one done on my winter beater for $35.
