We finally got the Cobra out for an extended period of time yesterday to get an alignment done and start to figure out some of the bugs. Just curious as to what the Water Temp, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure should be running at? We are idling around 50psi and went acceleratoring it jumps up to 60, which I would think is about right? The water temp/oil temp hovered anywhere between 75-80C (167-176F). Just wanted to make sure we were in the clear with those numbers or if it's running a hair hot? Thanks guys! :bigthumb

oil pressure sounds right, my motor idles about 45-50 and goes up to 60-65.

temp sounds right(to me), also. mine runs about that hot, but it's also .060 over and i have been told that it runs at a good temp for .060 over

I think its running a touch hot.

Does it have an electric fan or clutch fan?

no offence a touch hot if it has a 175 or 180 tstat in it them are great numbers 5.0L like being around 173 to 185

Actually running below 180 can effect the ecm. With that said it is pretty common to drop to alower temp tstat. Seems fine to me.

Cool, thanks guys. I figured as much, just wanted to make 100%. I know one thing though, that passenger compartment gets pretty damn warm! That motor sure puts off some heat. lol

You know, I must run WAY cold. I hardly ever get above 160.....maybe my fan relay is stuck closed or y therm is always open...

Cool! I think that might be a good idea. I hate to think what it will feel like during the middle of summer.
