My buddy is selling his 93 Lightning. Ralph Gabbard:angel: used to own it. I know it is a 396 with a NOVI (1000 I think). He just sent it somewere to boost the horsepower of the blower. BUILT. Truck is fast and SWEET looking.
Also has 29x11.50 slicks for it. He (my buddy) has never taken it down the track.
He is a MOTIVATED SELLER...Asking 11,500 OBO.

Are you sure that is a real Lightning? It seems like they went way out of their way to make it not look like a Lightning. From what I can tell they changed the bed, bumpers, grill, hood, wheels, seats and added ground effects. Sorry but I just have never seen anyone try so hard to make one not look like what it is, usually it is the other way around.

I can't tell you why they (Ralph Gabbard...Gabbard Ford...I guess), not my buddy did what they did. If you would like to call him he has more on that story I would imagine. He bought it the way it is as a Lightning. I'm sure he could tell you what is on the title. This thing was / is a street / strip truck and of those who knew Ralph knows he wasn't to concerned on spending $ to get it how he wanted it. NOT everyone wants what everyone else has :rolleyes:. Super Nice, Built Right Truck!
Oh yeah, and the stock hood comes with it too!

If this is the same truck Ralph had, it did have a standard bed. Also he purchased those rear wheels from my old boss and I'm pretty sure they are 12" wide. Rolph always spent money to have the best and nicest stuff.
