I'm looking for a 70-74, or 94+ roller 351w shortblock. The reason I left 69 out is because I already have a 4 bolt balancer.
My first choice would be a good block, with a good crank, good rods, and no pistons.
Let me know what you have, thanks!

I have a 96 roller complete short block minus oil pan, I will be willing to part with. I was told it has 76k miles.

Ken, the only one I could find was a 69, and I believe that has a 3 bolt crank.

why not use your 4bolt damper on the 69 block? if you already got one or a line on one?
they are the same 28oz. imbalance.
or am i missing something?

If I'm not mistaken, the 69 cranks only have 3 bolts holding the damper to the crank.

If you find just a block, I've got a 72 crank that you could use. Have a complete 69, but I think I'm going to hang on to it.

Hmm, I'll keep that in mind if I can't find anything. So far, I have quite a few options.
Does the 69 crank/balancer use 3 bolts?

There's one bolt holding the dampner to the crank. You can use whatever balancer you have thats 28oz. Whether its 3 or 4 bolt.
I don't know why I even went and looked.

Ok, well I'm retarded. I bought a 28oz SFI Powerbond balancer for a very good price and would like to use it. Thanks guys.

Bump this back up. Freakin' seller backed out after I waited for him to get back from vacation, and when it comes time for me to go pick it up, its all of a sudden sold.... Bunch of bullshit. Still need a shortblock though.

Alright, if anyone still cares, I just picked up some rods and pistons today for a standard bore 351w, so I'll be needing a standard bore 351w that will not need bored!!

Not necassarily. I have seen some blocks that have been taken care of with regular oil changes or just have low mileage and thats really what I'm looking for. I just picked up some pistons that are for standard bore so I have to get a block that might just need a slight hone or nothing at all.
Edit: A new 351w cast would be amazing. I'd REALLY like to stick with a roller too, but I'm not gonna be too picky at this point.
