"Black Chrome" wheels???

Anyone had any experience with "black chrome" wheels or seen them in person? Going to be buying new wheels for my Cobra soon and was wondering what you guys thought.

black chrome wheels look awesome. if my car were a different color that is the finish I would want on mine.

Black looks good on certain cars IMO. Im not a big fan of black on black like most ppl are but I do like it on certain stangs.

I perfer chrome on dark color cars but again thats my .02

Its a black 97 Cobra, haven't really taken any pics since I bought it but will have some up soon. Was looking at the "black chrome" FR500's but haven't made up my mind yet...

Black chrome wheels are sweet. I have a set of 20 inch wheels on my truck and a set of black chrome mach 1 wheels on my 96 convertible.

I had AFS Black Chrome on my Mach 1 before I got my BBS RKs. I liked them and never had issue with peeling, etc. However, they are pretty heavy.

I think the black chrome looks great on specific color cars. What color is your stang?

Thanks guys, probably going up to the swap meet and buy a set there. Just wanted some opinions before I go, would love to have a set of BBS RK's but can't find them anywhere...where did you find yours Evil Capri?

I purchased my BBS RKs off of a gentleman on modularfords.com. Rims and tires together in perfect condition. Plasma RKs can usually be found on svtperformance.com from time to time. I haven't seen a staggered set of the "regular' finish RKs in a while, but I was willing to wait until i found a set and felt comfortable with the seller.

The black chrome are badass. I saw a truck wheel that was black chrome and 24" at Sears. I love the look of those that Bighonkey posted. I would love to put them on my black 02. Where did you find those? I might have to check into selling the polished Cobra R's I have now.

I want to put either a set of FR500's or 03 Cobra black chrome on mine. I think it'd look sick on DSG.
