So....like Linus....I find myself sitting in my own pumpkin patch awaiting a visit from the Great Pumpkin. With every passing hour, every incoming call, the anticipation builds. I know that somewhere between Chicago and Cincinnati, the Great Pumpkin is steadily making it's way towards it's new home. Going out to dinner didn't take my mind off it, watching a movie didn't take my mind off it, SHOPPING didn't take my mind off it....however will I sleep tonight?

:( Still no car. I keep trying the driver's cell phone and it's turned off. I talked to the guy at 11:30 today and he said he was leaving Detroit at 12:30 and would be here by 4.....that was that last time I talked to him, and the last time I was able to reach him.

The dealership opens at 8AM tomorrow and the salesman (who hired the shipping company) is gonna get a nasty phone call. 1. I STILL don't have my car 2. I have NO idea where it even is 3. I sat around the house ALL frickin weekend. The guy was supposed to show up at 6 yesterday, didn't call, didn't show..I had to call him at 7PM and then he tells me..."oh...not today, it'll be tomorrow." Dude didn't even call me today, I had to call him..he again tells me it will be here by 4PM. Then the bastard turns off his phone.

I'm soooooo pissed right now. Just to deal w/ this shit all weekend. We had huge plans this weekend w/ Calvalcade and it was our 6th anniversary of our first date. Every year we go to the same restaurant and go to the movies (just like our first date) and we didn't do it today because we were waiting on the car.

If I don't have my car by tomorrow around noon, I'm reporting it stolen. PERIOD. I'll give the dealer an opportunity to make this right.

When you posted he stated 3.5 hours to get to Cincy, I know it wasn't gonna get here.

250 miles to Taylor (south of D) from Fairfield is a solid 4 hours at sane speeds of 70 mph and 1-2 piss breaks. This is a car, not a hauler which should be limited to 55 mph.

Also, the truckers here know, Monday AM delivery. I'll bet it's sitting at the dealership right now :)

I have big feet and I'm pretty klutzy/uncoordinated, so I've never quite figured out how to effectively do a burnout. I may just have to take you up on the offer Daney!
