I have a K&N intake that the screws stripped out in. I picked up a new set of screws from a guy parting out his 05. He also sent me the mas air sensor as well. Will this mass air sensor work on my 06? These cars seem so picky I do not want to screw anything up on it.
I was thinking that I could keep my mass air sensor on the FACTORY AIR box incase I ever sell the car and silicone the other mass air sensor to the K&N to make sure no air would get through. What do you think?

Call a ford dealer and ask them if the 05 and 06 have the same part number.
That should answer your question.

you could tap the hole a little bigger and install studs with a smaller thread for the sensor. would take some fancy fabricating but could be done. I took the MAF sensor off a 06 GT that came with Angie's cold air and shoved it right into her car. No problems at all. Do the part numbers match on the sensors? I didn't check hers.
