You have a 5 speed or AOD??B-cam wont work in AOD car without the use of a converter.

Ive got an E-cam in my coupe.Sounds pretty good, actually sounds really good.Right where i wanted it to be.But the AOD cant take the duration a B-cam has.And its nothing bad or im not tryin to kill you sale Black90lx,but i just dont want him to get something that wouldnt work that well with his aod.Where you live,if your close ill swing by and let you listen to it and you can decide what you want.

Its not the rest of your setup that would be affected, its just the AOD.From what ive learned about these cams, the E-cam has 280* duration. The b-cam has 284.From what i was told, the b-cam has to much duration for the stock aod converter and it wont run correctly. If your lookin for a good replacement,go with the E-cam.Or the TFS stage 1.

I heard many b-cams in my day. It seemed as though every car we drove into our shop had one. That became a "normal" sound to us, but I have to admit I think the tfs 1 has a nice sound to it and runs way better, atleast to me it does. I built a 5.0HO injected 4x4 Ranger 2 years ago and asked a few of my local stang buddies what cam they thought would be best. They all said the same thing, TFS. So I did it, and was pleasently surprised. I'm running one in my 93 notch right now...It's just personal opinion though, I'm not trying to call anybody out on it...
