Not sure if everyone knows this....but you can save yourself some filing $ by filing online, here is some info:
For FEDERAL
If you made less than $54,000 you can efile for FREE (save that $18.00 you spend with Turbo Tax) by going to www.irs.gov click on "individuals" and "efiling"
For STATE (of Ohio)
Anyone can file for free (saves the $18.00 more you spend with Turbo Tax) by going to www.tax.ohio.gov and click on "file your taxes online"
Even if you OWE you can efile - you have to mail in your check with a voucher or pay with a credit card.
If you are getting a rebate - you can set-up direct deposit or have them mail you a check.
If I saved anyone a few dollars letting you know about this, you owe me a beer ;)
