Oxford Light?

So last night a few friends call me and tell me to come to this haunted road with them in Oxford OH, near the Miami campus. I don't believe in ghost or anything, but it was something to do. So the story has it that this couple was dating, parents forbid it. So the guy would wait at the end of this road and the girl would flash her bedroom light like 3 times and he would come on his motorcycle and get her. Apparently one night he wrecked and died, etc etc. Anyways, we drive and end up on this country road, very very hilly and little houses. So we are at the end of the road and turn the car off and flash our lights 3 times, out of nowhere one yellowish light appears about a mile away and start hurling down the road, fading as it appears to go up and down hills. After a minute or so and probably getting within a 1/4 mile it just disappeared. It was honestly very mind blowing. I know it was not a car or anything because we went back and did it again, and there were no other houses close and when we left no car in sight. I have been reading about it all day today and searching very hard for an explanation. I'm not one to believe in ghost/paranormal and it's killing me that I cannot come up with a valid answer. Has anyone else ever been there or tried it out?

Did that when I was 16, fun shit! Sadly though it's just random that a car is coming in the distance, and the headlights at the distant appear as a single light.

If it was a car then it was just some amazing timing and had to be hauling ass straight towards us at 2am.

The road is straight and full of hills, odds are that the car turns onto the main cross street, or into a driveway. It's all random luck. :D

been their seen it. its not a dam car their is no were for a car to even be. car lights dont have a yellow tint eather.

i've seen it many times. it does not show up on video.

Been there maybe ten times and it never let me down. It's definently not a car coming down the road. I have seen the taillight as well. If you are in the right spot it will stop at the top of the hill closest to you (75 yards ish) and sit there. The light sometimes gets real bright and ussualy not a constant brightness either. You can also see the light reflecting off the trees and wires as it aproches you. Looks to be going about 200+mph.

One time as we left it stayed ahead of our car about 30-50 yards. I was doing about 130 and couldn't get close. Chased it almost to 73 or 72 whatever that road is.

For me it is the best and most consistant ghost/residual haunting/phenomena that I have seen.

Went again tonight. It worked, the girls we were with started freaking out so they made us start the car, so we chased it. Once we went over the first hill it was gone. We tried it about 10 mins later and it didn't work though. Some crazy stuff, for sure not a car, I wish I could figure out what it is.

I've been there a couple times....never saw the light, but I might've been facing the wrong way. I did however one night hear a motorcycle screaming down the road is a downpour strong enough to keep even the most hardcore riders

well i took my wife there and showed her she said bs but it worked the same then as is it did when i was a teenager that was 2 years ago i have seen it muiltiple times reason why i dont know but it sure is fuggin weird i love it!

been there done that and iu got it on video. Your not allowed to do that anymore last time i was out there they towed my buddys truck in. said that people come out there all the time and park on the road and sometimews get robbed and the light is just a car miles away
