They're saying a total of 11-15 inches!!!!!!

We only had about 4 inches when it calmed down earlier this evening, but the second wave is the big-hitter.

And then there's another front that may develop on Sunday....

Wilmington ALWAYS gets the crappiest part of the storms. In 05 when I drove home with a friend of mine...he lived in Wlimington, there were trees downed everywhere...ice covered EVERYTHING, came down through Cincy..and it was nothing...most of the snow that came through had already melted a bit. I was amazed.

From TV cam, the interstates are moving at 30 mph, 1.5 lanes open in most parts, but that was with no traffic. The on/off ramps have barely been touched.

Nothing happening in southern Campbell County right now. Guess it's coming later this morning. Haven't seen the "blizzard" conditions!

Hamilton County has issued a LEVEL 3 Snow Emergency. Only emergency personnel are permittted on the roadways. Hope they don't do that here.

So on my 4-5 mile round trip, the only places I saw open were Blockbuster, Kroger, White Castle, the evil empire, Wendy's, and Dick's sports. It was pretty odd seeing a lot of the places closed. Like driving around on Christmas night or something.

If you have a vehicle that can get around ok, it's REALLY fun out there. I haven't driven in snow like this since last year in Santa Fe, NM, and even that wasn't this awesome.

Yeah, my big baby boxer won't even go out to where the grass is supposed to be..........he pees on the sidewalk as soon as the door opens so he doesn't have to step too deep in the snow. I am sure the neighbors (in my building) love to see yellow snoe when they leave. haha fug 'em.....we don't like them anyway.

I opened the door to the deck (there is NO yellow snow out there!) and packed some tall plastic cups with snow and poured pepsi on it to make "frozen cokes" for the kids. They loved it. Gonna venture out tomorrow with the sleds and snowsuits.

Am I the only one that thinks Clermont County/Union Township simply can keep up with their plowing? Last night the wife and I decided to head up to O'Charleys in Eastgate for dinner. We're cruising down Beechmont towards Clough and the moment we get to Cherry Grove and all the way into Eastgate, it looked like a snow plow hadn't been through in 10 hours. It was horrible! It seems its been that way as long as I can remember though. :HYF:

It was like that on 275??? why? I thought ODOT took care of all of the hwy. But when you went down 275 from 5 mile to the clermont county line it was clear and mostly dry. From about beechmont to milford it was shitty. On the way back from milford it was the same way shitty then when you got close to the Hamilton county line it was clear.

I wouldn't clear a drive for people I don't know. The lawsuit thing is precisely why.

I ran the snow blower on my driveway, my parents drive, their neighbor and my neighbor. I know for a fact those people won't sue me. Anyone else, no way in hell.

Fun fact, I estimate the snowblower moved almost a quarter million pounds of snow yesterday! (over 10,000 sf cleared at about a foot deep average)
