There are some good BBQ popping up these days. I know some will disagree but I really like City BBQ. Landen Smoke House has some great ribs and other tasty treats. I also went to a place with jeff88coupe for lunch one day around Mt. Healthy that was pretty good.

Walt's on Colerain near Mt. Airy has a good southern style BBQ. The pulled pork and the chicken are good. Avoid the brisket. It was over cooked last time I had it.

Give Jim Dandy's a try!!

It is located on Sharon rd just off I75, next to Thorntons.
He started as a street corner vendor, and worked his way up to his current building. to drive by there when the smoker is chuggin away...man that stuff smells awesome!

Ditto. I ate there when I was in Cincy for a air conditioning class at the Chrysler tech center..... Yummy.

Their chicken rings are pretty good but i wouldn't have had high hopes for a pulled pork bbq sandwich from Whiteys.

Big Art's, Walt's, Goodie's, Pit-to-plate are all pretty good.

I live near Landen and have been wanting to try the smoke house. I have also herd City BBQ is good.

There is a place in Reading my step-dad picked up for us once and it was pretty damn good. It was some guy who used to be a chef to celebraties or something.
