Talking to the tech guy this weekend at E20, and he said they are going to require engine diapers for 9.99 and faster cars. Anyone else hear this? I think those are a major PITA:(

:lol: Bad thing is...I think you were still going to stage up and make a pass if the tech guy wouldn't have came over and told ya you cut a tire, lol. Of course trying to sit on all the phone books and drive a mid 12 second car would be pretty rough!!!:bigthumb:flipoff:

HAHA. When I heard that pop, I was like, "WTF was that". I had no idea the tire blew. I hope I would have realized it if I pulled forward anymore:tongue2:

You should have felt how sticky those tires were when we were taking them off:D The problem ended up being the fact that the tires were way too tall...after rubbing on the wheel trim a few times during my John Force burnout, the tire could not take anymore:eek: That car would have stood on the bumper that pass:tongue2:

Problem is I don't think anyone makes a engine diaper that will work on a mustang that uses a stock style K-member/steering rack/motor mounts/oil filter yet.

Seems like edge water just becomes more of a pain in the ass every yr.

Andy, do you know them or have a number? Im sure there are a "couple";) of SBZ members that will need one. Maybe if all those that needs one gives the guy one big order, we can get a deal.
If you dont feel like messin with it, send me a number.:)

Alot of tracks have gone to the dipper rule not just edgewater ever since the since the nhra put it in there rule book . So be perpaerd there going to move it to 10.90 next year or there year after i can remeber. You also need a parchute to go 9.99 or 10.99 and 150 mph this year another dumb rule .

What sucks is that ALOT of shit comes off slower cars. Look how many 13+ second cars have Shit coming off them on any Friday night. NONE of them have ANY kind of diaper or safety equipment.

If they could make one to fit a mustang with a tube k-member/steering rack/stock motor mounts and oil filter......they would sell alot of them. I don't think that the diapers even have to be sfi rated to be used.

They SFI cert' there anyway,so i think if they make one they certify it anyway.
